How *smile* is Channel 7. The finish to the France Slovenia basketball semi was a humdinger. France was a point up with 12 seconds left but missed a jumper. Slovenia got the rebound and only need a 2 to win. Doncic has the ball but is double teamed and manages to dish to Dragic on the 3 point line. He gets closed out so drives to the hoop with 2 seconds to go and looks to score an easy lay up. All of a sudden some Frenchie comes out of nowhere with a massive block to win the game for France. It all happened so quickly I don’t even know which French player blocked it.
So what does 7 do? They don’t even analyse what happened. Basically go straight to a run of at least 12 ads and when they finally finish they skip the basketball wash up completely in favour of showing the Kookaburras *smile* up the penalty shoot out again. Which everyone had already seen.
