WEEK 1 FINALS 2021

And two of them came in last years finals series alone.

It’s not just the losses but how they lose. They are generally getting thumped too.

It’s Scott’s possession and control game plan which he has persisted with for a decade but has consistently been found wanting in September (and October).
Which is why Hardwick is loathe to use those tactics.

Does he have dementia or something ? Honestly. The guy is just unbearable.
Unbearable is the word.

He suffers from a couple of all-too-common afflictions:
  • Lovethesoundofmyownvoiceitis
  • Beingamassivecuntism

Yep but all the cokhead media sycophants will hail him as the greatest captain of all time. Yet none of them talk about what Cotchin has done at Richmond. 3 more flags than Cheatwood as captain and a 10-5 finals record.

Selwood is a fraud.

It should be the first question asked tonight.
72% wining record in H&A
But Under 40% in finals.
He is a fraud
I think their recruiting methodology used to never tank but always be thereabouts contributes to their inability to go all the way. I think this time though they went all in on older players and will suffer the consequences. 12 players on their list over 30, 18 over 28.

They have also been the biggest beneficiary of free agency.

Well done to Port..... I'd love to see them and Melbourne in the GF and for Max Gawn to absolutely destroy them.... (I'm thinking about that first game of Butters, Rozee and Dursma and them taunting him during and after the match..... upstart sux!)

That Smile Reynolds went alright.

Port looked quick when they got it on the outside. They got a bumper crop in the 2018 and 2019 drafts. Aliir was a great pick up as well. Exactly what they needed down back.
Pretty good in 2016 as well.

They have a heap of elite kicks who get the ball where it's going hard, flat and fast. Makes you look even quicker.

Hawkins bumps a guy high whilst their head is over the ball.

Brayshaw: "Hawkins imposing his strength and physicality"

If that was Lynch they would have replayed that ad nauseum whilst debating whether it would be looked at by the MRO.

It’s not just about Cotchin’s record in finals as skipper. It’s about where they came from. He led a team that was a rabble and then had 3 embarrassing finals losses to 3 flags in 4 years. How his record as a skipper in finals is not hailed as one of the all time greatest is an indictment on the football industry

Just went on the Handbaggers Facebook page. Fair to say their fans have had enough. What a beautiful start to the weekend :)
