Any key forwards in Tassie?

With Jack getting close to retirement, it would be decades since we were without a key Tassie forward mauling opposition defenses.

Hart handed over to Roach,

Roach led Benny Gale in for a cameo role until Richo stepped in.

And with perfect timing JR arrived to replace Richo.
Maybe Nank can play key fwd to plug the gap bw Jack and the next one

It’s getting harder and harder for me to think of reasons why we shouldn’t draft Amiss with our first pick after Chol & CCJ have moved on. Huge swing by me I know but I think it may be necessary.
I'm warming to him after seeing a bit more footage. Moves better than I initially thought, has good hands and great skills. Won't be taking a lot of pack marks but good on the lead and on the ground. If the top tier of mids are gone and we think we can get one or two just as good at 17 and say the dogs pick if we get it as we could at 9, it could be a play.

We could do a lot worse than picking up Amiss and Van Rooyan in the same draft and loading up with midfielders for the balance

*id still trade down for Gibcus if possible

Perfectly put. If it falls that way I’m with you 100%.

It’s Erasmus or Amiss / Andrew if Freo get in. I floated Andrew in that list you had but Amiss is probably a better fit for Freo.
I'd say they go Amiss first and bank on us not taking Erasmus.

If we are after Amiss we could swap 7 to Carlton for 6, with some shuffling of later picks.

Yeah like this idea. We could almost use this draft to plug most needs.

I mentioned this on the Tarrant thread. I have a feeling Clarke is a huge fan of Van Rooyen. I think we take him with Geelongs pick especially if we go mid with pick 7.
