I would rate this draft as the most boring.
I feel with such low numbers drafted.
Considering there are 18 clubs not to get to 100 new kids in the system is crap.
The AFL needs to stop worrying about fixing the game with ridiculous rule changes but concentrate how they get more kids into the system.
I reckon we will start to lose a lot more kids to soccer and basketball because the chances of getting onto an AFL list is just getting tooo hard.
Clubs should have 50 players on there list

Don't forget @Redford having an off Broadway pick as his mail? is that still the case Red?
Not sure. Depends on the club’s rating of the residual National Draft nominees that didn’t get through. This player was considered by a few clubs in the mid season draft last year. Like many, not helped by the lack of VFL football this year.

Anything special about Fejo?
eZyT posted a highlights clip a couple of hundred pages ago. Fejito got dance moves that ain't even been thought of yet. Probably not suited to the structures n systems of a professional AFL team where everything's got to be in the right place at the right time, but damn he'd be fun to watch.

We had a decent draft and whilst there were players we wanted that we didnt take and got drafted later but clearly our recruiters didnt and or thought there were better options based on their work.
Johnson , Howes , Taylor the main players butits all done and dusted now and lets have faith our guys know what they wanted and got.

Baker , Stack , Pickett , Broad , Mcintosh , Lambert , Grimes , Short just to name a few most wouldnt have taken but the club has proved in the past they do have a plan and pick best available according to our game plan style.

We have kept our F1 & have 2x F2 picks next year so the rebuild on the run is well on its way

I'm still rapt with Gibcus we snatched him don't underate this kid his a gun don't surprised he goes forward.
It was a good choice to open with a KPD, opened up the entire draft, that aside I think Gibcus has the tools to be a forward, although you never know with these kids. I never really anticipated Naughton being a forward, I found his kicking action to be volatile, he seems to have compensated for that with the sheer weight of opportunities he allows himself. I certainly wouldn't be relying on him to kick the winner after the siren, he'd be the last bloke I'd want with the ball in their hands.

Apparently we rated Tom Brown within the top 15 and clubs like Sydney, Melbourne and Geelong were going to pull the trigger at their next pick.

Yeah we differed on Naughton.

To answer your question re: after the siren kick - He's also the most likely to have the ball in his hands...

Kicking after the siren doesn't happen too often. Sometimes we gotta look at their strengths
