Training For Redemption in 2022

Speed of Farts might reduce his impact in the middle
Faarts speed through the middle need to be multi dimensional, at times explosive n blisteringly quick, but often just happy to burble along at a steady pace n capable of repeat efforts for consistent input. While the maximum impact is often derived from the unseen n unheard silent assassin that remains unnoticed until such time as they bob up n totally destroy all opposition.

Half the team in rehab already and the season hasn’t started. Its all gone to *smile* since we let Rob Innes go and kept the Burgess Queen.

Very well done

What's with the lack of videos and updates coming from the club re training? Normally they have interviews about the training camp, daily diaries etc. The only reason we know they are at a camp is from caesar. In fact if it wasn't for caesar I'd barely know they are training at all!

Happened last year too as they seem to be totally focussed on the womens team at this time of year. Annoying as I’m not real interested in AFLW but thankfully, it’s only a short season for the ladies and the articles on the website will focus on the mens team soon enough

Think Caesar has obtained official rights and sent the club a cease and desist notice that have their lawyers scrambling atm.

I were told they were only travelling up to Bright yesterday afternoon, so hopefully as they start getting stuck into things videos will follow??

Not sure it’s that dire but losing Innes was a massive loss. Probably bigger than losing one of Macrae or Leppa.

Yep wall to wall AFLW. Which is fine. But surely the two can coexist at this time of year?

Seems to be a lot of focus on the women as it is their actual season now. Priorities.

I raised this in a survey recently and got a call back to discuss it. Made it clear that I thought the website content (especially in the context of providing actual insight, rather than herald sun/afl site level generic stuff) had been on the slide for a number of years. Looks like it fell on deaf ears

It’s because they don’t want to dilute the in season womens exposure.

All that footy/training content needs bodies/a body to put together, edit, produce, put up on the site. All soft cap money. I think that money might be getting spent elsewhere.

They're definitely working all angles on the budget. I.e. Morro is Capt/Coach of the VFL Team and is there at every AFL Training session leading groups and exercises.

I'd love to be able to tell you as they are literally staying on the property across the road from mine, it's just I'm in Melbourne. Their hosts, my neighbours, knowing I'm a Tigs supporter, asked me if I'd like to pour beers at the end of camp function, but my real job means I can't. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Media/marketing people do not fall under the football department softcap. The lack of off-season content is likely due to the club not wanting to overshadow the AFLW team.
