Welcome to the Tigers Marlion Pickett!

The report said low impact, body contact…so not for the throat.
If this is what football has become, I’m definitely out. This was similar to the Grimes one…horrible horrible pathetic umpiring and the mrp are just a gutless afl puppet. Absolutely livid. There must have been another incident - it is just not possible that this incident could be cited.
Think it just confirms AFL house hate us.

MRO decision is a joke.

But on the incident, Butler baited Marlion and got the result he was after. Too predictable to react is our Marlion, it's part of his game he needs to control better because he has a reputation now and the Umps are looking for a reason to blow their whistle.
It's a trick he learned will at the Tiges

yes what a disgrace , two players going tit or tat push push and only one gets fined and no mention of staging
even the commentators at the time said "was that enough force to push a player over ?" " you'd think not" inference stagging was worth the penalty or fine

sets a dangerous precedent , (or already happening) opposition players can go to town on our guys because they know the umps will side with them
That fact the Butts is seen on the replay laughing about it screams setup.....so why no fine for staging?

The problem is only retaliation will be seen by the umps and MRO and anything that went on previously will be ignored.

Yes that is right for the umpires, but the MRO can go thru it frame by frame. To call it a strike is just astonishing. The mro are just garbage and have no idea.

This.

You can understand an umpire not seeing it (but 3 umpires not seeing it?), but the MRO has no excuse. Clearly staging and fining the player who pushed last and rewarding the stager sends a clear message to all players - stage and you will be rewarded.

Ump fell for Butler's dive after receiving an open hand shove to the chest. How is that Marlion's fault?
Why didn't they reverse the kick after Butler shoved Marlion beforehand? Because Marlion stayed on his feet and didn't dive.
After Butler pushed Marlion twice with more force. Joke. And the MRO condoned and endorsed a *smile* decision.

The shitful AFL management of the game. I'm just about done with it.

I’m getting closer by the minute to being done. This decision has made my blood boil. It is just so ridiculous, it has to be biased.

why isn't the MRO looking at the entire incident between Marlion and Butler?

that's why the fine stinks

Has become an enigma to a professional.
Has a high ceiling.

What a renaissance. Was dropped last year, had a middling preseason and slots in and gets even better. Let's get him to 100 games, so we can get those kids father / son.
