That was a very irresponsible segment on the Sunday Footy Show and I am surprised it hasn't had a bigger blow back.

Or perhaps I shouldn't be surprised.

Footy Classified touched on it.

I was being facetious regarding viewer numbers. I do think it's irresponsible for them to be discussing it. I read that Wines has stated his issues have nothing to do with the vaccine.

How wonder how many people died because whacko nutjob conspiracy theorists kept pushing the ivermectin lie. Pretty sure a decent lawyer could mount a case for manslaughter.
Not invermectin in of itself but as the whole conspiracy potpourri you would think hundreds of thousands in the USA given the red/blue split in death rates and the aligning of red with conspiracy.

World failed its maths test.

19 people died in NSW today. A total of 50 around the country who succumbed to the virus.
We've become immune to the death rate.
Yep. There was an epidemiologist ABC saying we have effectively entered the Denial Phase. Even pollies have given up.

There are a lot of things we are hearing now about the effects of Covid and the vaccines taken by so many of us.

frightening to say the least.

I’ve had two friends end up in hospital with heart attacks not long after taken their booster shot. Coincidence??

I know of a female who is young, athletic, extremely fit and she was struck by Covid and has knocked her about. Fatigued..

Another female who has been so knocked by fatigue and struggles with her memory.

I don’t know if I have been exposed to Covid and my immune system ‘fought it off ‘ , I’m quite fit ‘physically’ but haven’t had it nor the symptoms…

So far nothing.

I worry about my mum and my primary reason for having these vaccines was to protect her .

She asked me today that she is scared to have the fourth booster as her close friend had it a few days ago and she is quite sick.

I don’t want her to have it. Am I selfish?

She is in this ‘vulnerable group, over 65, pacemaker, heart issues on medication, diabetic….

Scared..

@waiting look at the scientific data.

An individual experience of doing something, then something good or bad happening is meaningless.

It’s like when my mate had a ‘lucky’ scarf that when worn the tigers won. (A story for the pub as to how it got lucky). But obviously that is *smile* and the streak ended.

The vaccines have very small chance of causing side effects - Covid speaks for itself with approximately million dead in the USA.

I think being scared (and therefore taking precautions against) long Covid is smart.

I still haven’t had the spicy cough. How many people on here have had it? What was the experience like?

It knocked me about pretty badly. Very sore throat - couldn't eat or drink and hard to sleep. Took 7-8 days but no effects at all now. 3 x vaxxed.

One of the guys I play basketball had it a couple of weeks ago (triple vaxxed). Reckons he is 70-80% / running out of breath etc. but gradually improving.

Read the other day that there’s an alarming number of people presenting to doctors with cardiac conditions 12 plus months after having mild and even asymptomatic Covid - be they vaccinated or not.

There’s still a lot we don’t know about this virus. To that end, I’m not sure the current framework is all that safe. If there is an actual framework anymore, that is. Seems it’s all a “whatever” type situation now.

As an extension of that, what the *** is this hapless government and it’s National Cabinet’s position on a second booster for people with chronic underlying conditions ? We know there’s a recommendation for a second booster for people severely immunocompromised/elderly, but what about the some 3 million people or so that suffer from conditions like diabetes, cardiac diseases, cancers etc etc ?

I know Israel and I think the FDC as well have recommended a second booster for this cohort, but what’s Australia’s position ? Do these people need one or not ? Communicate a clear position ffs.

Crickets. Dud-mo asleep at the wheel again, as usual.
