For those of you who watch the VFL regularly, has there been any improvement in this bloke over the preseason? Don't recall reading much about him in caesar's training reports. Seems like a bit of a forgotten man.

Hoping that he's put on a bit of muscle as he did resemble a beanpole in his only AFL outing.

very raw, the type of player who may take 3-4 years to understand his potential. Not an instant impact recruit. With Soldo and Nank not inured, VFL is his craft for the next 2 years minimum. 206cm, only 21, we can throw in the towel now and say this a bust. We "may" reap the rewards of several years of development..... jury out IMO

Still scratching my head about his recruitment.
Why spend 5 years developing such a very raw prospect and have him stuck behind so many others. Even CCJ and Chol were in front of him at the time.
It’s also not really clear what position he actually is best suited for. Forward/Back up ruck?

I think they are grooming him as key forward/ 2nd ruck.

I get this view. Most rucks are pinched after doing their "apprenticeship" at the club that recruited them. Most rucks these days are rookie listed or picked up via trades when they become #3 or #4 in line. Some clubs can get lucky and they develop quickly (under 23) but that is not the norm with rucks. Im happy to do all 3. Draft (Ryan) - rookie list (soldo) - mature age recruit / trade (Nank)

Only cost us pick 40 in the 2020 draft.
