Josh Caddy

Yet to completely verify the story, but let's say it's in the 90% range as there's some family history at this club.
Suburban club had a chat to assess any interest in giving them a chop-out for remainder of season.
Might be interested for $60,000... This from a cap of $120k!
Said club became instantly disinterested.

Whoops, sorry. I was just shocked at the amount. I’ll edit back.
Nah, all good mate... it's sort of unbelievable if true. Think it's got a fair amount of mayo on it as he knew exactly the club's situation so if it happened it may have been a request in jest.
Not sure he's playing anywhere. .. think he said he was off OS? .... or helping out Steve Morris. .. who may just need it!

“Greensborough has secured a major weapon in the NFL Division 1 premiership fight.
Two-time Richmond premiership star Josh Caddy will make his Borough debut against Hurstbridge at War Memorial Reserve on Saturday.

Caddy announced his AFL retirement last month and speculation was rife as to his local footy return.

Greensborough won the race to his signature, fighting off several rivals.

Brother Saul has played at North Heidelberg and Heidelberg while nephew Nate made his senior debut for Bundoora earlier this season.

He was an Eltham junior before being taken by Gold Coast with pick No. 7 in 2010.”

Kreuzer joining them too apparently. Buggered if I know what has happened to the points system salary cap.

Been announced today on Insta that Josh and his partner are expecting a baby.

Congrats to both of them, no father / son unfortunately as only played 79 games for us (unless we can get the AFL to change the rules, to 100 games, or 50+ a premiership).

well if Adelaide can have a FS who's dad never played for Adelaide & last played for one of their 4 feeder clubs 36 years ago, then yes, we should have dibs on any kids Josh has

I think if the AFL rated a premiership as the reason for a son or daughter to play for the club it should be good enough considering what club these days have to give up to get in a quality FS selection.
