Graham plays outside defensive mid. Because he can run and defend. And because he doesn't win it against elite AFL mids when he's inside.

He's rarely sound. But he is busy and he is committed.

His best use is lightning and super aggressive.

His TOG says the he's got a tank. But his performance says that he is only at his best in bursts.

I think he's levelling up right now. Probably because sound. And maturing.

He was one of our best at playing the conditions. A stark contrast to some of the flashier Carlton mids.

Great game Fridgie.
Worked his arse off.
10 tackles. Team leading effort. May have some shortcomings but he has some ability, nous and team commitment

For those that take note of this stuff, apparently he had 102 pressure points.

Most players struggle to get 20.

Jeebus, I knew he played well but the averge player is like a third of that arent they?

I'm not big on that stuff.

Some great outlet disposal by hand and foot last night contributed to2 or 3 goasls directly from Fridgey..

For a pick in the 50’s we have got great value out of this bloke.

Great clubman, and a very underrated user of the football.

Running into strong form. Hits the ball with his whole body and at speed. Kick to lynch was crazy good. Tackling as always is brutal and rarely gives away a too high.

Spot on

Over time he’s been criticised for being lumbering and slow. And to be fair - if you watch him running to the boundary after being called to the interchange bench - he gets there in a heavy plodding style - and there’s no mistaking him for Marty White. Then again he’s probably pretty knackered too at those times.

During the game though he obviously moves well enough between stoppages coz he‘s always ready to do the heavy grunt work in the clinches as indicated by those pressure point stats.

And then when he does have the ball in his hands he can move move very quickly on the outside and deliver the ball beautifully - completely at odds with his plodding gait.

A great asset for sure.
