Assuming decent weather, Dusty’s availability and depending on Sundays VFL form I like Martin, Miller, Ryan and Stack for our game against Geelong.
Not sure of Tarrant’s hand injury situation but his game last night again did not impress.
My outs would be Balta, Edwards, Rioli Jr and Tarrant.

B Broad Grimes Miller
HB Stack Vlastuin Rioli D,
C McIntosh Short Pickett
HF Baker Graham Bolton
F Martin Lynch Riewoldt
R Nankervis Cotchin Prestia
I/C Clarke, Lambert, Ralphsmith and Ryan.
Sub Edwards.
Em Mansell and Rioli M Jr.

Shock horror you didn't enjoy Tarrants game. Almost universally people say he had a good game but again you say he was rubbish. Its clear you have some sort of agenda against Tarrant. He probably won't play next week but that will be due to injury (and we could certainly do with him on Hawkins who he would match up well on).

Shipston on Stour, UK
we go from Thursday night, when no one wants to go, but great for TV, to almost the worst TV timeslot of the week, for the 2nd biggest game of the weekend.
An early start for me if the alarm goes off but not a game to miss so should watching in bed whilst my partner gets me my breakfast (I hope)

I would never say that Tarrant or any other Richmond player was rubbish.
Stats don’t answer disagreement of this kind but they are worth a look.
According to the AFL site he was on the ground for 90 odd minutes for 4 possessions, no tackles, 85 meters gained and he achieved the lowest player rating of any player on the ground.
Someone else also pointed out that he was favoured by the wet conditions, which didn’t help his opponents who rely on high marking. I agree.
Assuming he can’t play and Miller does I would also hope for wet conditions, but I think your thoughts about his,Tarrant’s, ability to keep up with and compete with Hawkins (or Cameron) in any conditions, are wildly optimistic.

Just pop a 6 pack into an esky beside the bed before you retire. No need for the partner to get up n make you brekky that way. Get in the good books by letting them have a relaxing lazy morning. No making brekky, no cleaning dishes. You know it makes sense.

Sub best player VFL game against Coburg

Out Lambert Edwards Balta
Lambert has been one of our best over the last 5 years. He came back last week and is nursing a chronic injury.
Unless he has decided on surgery think he will play.

Who woulda thought a couple of weeks back (not me) that if Carlton lose to Fremantle and we beat Geelong by say 40 points we're in 4th spot and 1 win behind 3rd.

I thought so, but I thought we would beat Swans also to get there. If we had done that we would have gone ahead of cats on points and not have to rely on %.

Last 2 games against Geelong Hawkins has kicked 8 goals, Cameron 6 (from 1 game). Definitely a concern, we really have to prevent the number of opportunities up the ground. On the face of it Tarrant doesn't look like a good match for either of them. I'd go Miller acknowledging that he might get taught a lesson.

Not only do we have to control Shovkins and Cameron but we need to the hold ball in our forward line
Over 70 forward entries against Blues and they easily rebounded almost everytime
Need to make most of our forward entries by applying score board pressure

One thing I learned from Thursday night was I really want McKay in our team
Not sure about that.Give me a forward line with a number of goalkickers anytime.Relying on the one player too much causes problems if injured,or having a bad day.

This will show us where we are at. I'm not sure we beat a full strength Cats. Maybe best to save that for the finals!
No Tarrantula or Balta. Dusty, Shedda n Lamblett all running at half rat power this year, not sure we're any where near full strength at any stage this year.
Massive game against the Moggies n we have a slight advantage getting a longer break between games n not having the disruption of the Perth trip. Gotta balance that against the Moggies anger at being forced to play their home game at our G instead of Crapdinia park.
Should be an entertaining arvo at the footy next week, aside from winning finals it's always a very special feeling when we slap the Moggies, so I'm looking forward to a happy ending.
