Agree, but if you are wrestling with a dude for 2 minutes you'll get a fine, simple as that. The last suspension for the bump was worse, I don't think Marlion will care much about a 1K fine.

This is why I am pushing this - and anyone still wondering should go and look at the replay to see how forceful the blow is. Cameron, Geethugs and AFL very conveniently getting away with this hit under cover of all the outpourings of sympathy and focus on poor 'good bloke, clean player' Stewart. While who knows what the long-term impact may be on the victim's health and playing career which means his $$$, his family, everything. It's an orgy of appalling deceit and hypocrisy.
If Marlion did either of these hits on say, Selwood or Stewart, he would be back in jail ... with no hearing.
For those who may think Scott and his team would never possibly go out to physically hit/attack arguably our current 2 best players who are also quite diminutive targets, perhaps cast your minds back to his playing days when he and his brother quite brutally attacked, both physically and verbally, a young Nick Riewoldt after he had his shoulder dislocated. Remember the footage of this budding young star weeping on the bench? An insight into the real character of the Scott twins?

Any sane person with normal instincts ducks when they see or sense a blow coming to the head. It's a reflex action, not even requiring a decision. Like try have someone (your partner?!) pretend to hit you unexpectedly sometime. Cameron's arm was swinging violently at Shai.
Later I saw similar actions on both Jack R and Tom Lynch, not even a free.
