Well said, David of the 3 Esses!

I think it is a by product of the fast paced society we now live in.
We need to have an answer now, today, yesterday.
When the answer is not there we feel like we need to chat, comment, write, post, speculate, pontificate, predict, the outcome.

We just need to chill.

Let the Tom Brownes of the world work up a lather when writing their scoops.
You seen him on the news?
He will talk at warp speed so he can get his story out first.
Heaven forbid someone breaks the story before him.
I am not worried about these muck rakers.

I keep going back to the Dustin 4.

1. Dusty loves this club.
2. Dusty loves his team mates.
3. Dusty is fiercely loyal.
4. Dusty is a man of great integrity.

The Dustin 4 Principles.

End of.

Its actually possible he has re done it.

I say that for one reason and one reason only.

Dusty has not really had issues with his hamstrings over his career and has been very durable.

Without having previous strains and tears he doers not have the reference point and experience in regard to how things feel and progress of the healing strength etc.

It is not uncommon for players to re do a soft tissue injury of significance if they have not done it before, as they feel things are better when they are not quite there yet and then re do the injury.

Tommy Lynch, Noah Balta and Dusty have all had this happen this season if I recall correctly.

Cotch comes off with awareness because he is aware of the feeling that something isn't quite right, he knows what his body feels like normal and when somethings not right he has a reference point of past experience, same for Dion.

Grimes knew straight away he had done a decent job on his through his vast past experience and grimly ambled from the field.

This ldoes ends creedence to the re injury theory.

@The Big Richo would be able to explain these circumstances better than I as its his domain.

Dusty would be under far more pressure and media scrutiny playing at another club. Doubt he would want that.

Read that Franklin is possibly selling up and moving to GC
Thatd leave enough room in Swans salary cap for a star player

Let’s be honest, if he leaves, so be it. But we better ask for something decent. I have said it before but I’d support any decision he made if that was leaving to live in another state that makes his life more comfortable, or staying. If he left for another vic club well I’d probably be a bit sour but also ask questions why.

He’s played 8 games this year for various reasons. We haven’t been great, but we kept on going. I don’t think even with dusty we are possible of winning another premiership in the next 2 years.

I’d like to see him finish his career with us but I’d also like to see him happy so whatever happens so be it. I actually feel sorry for him with the whole media scrutiny on this.

Spot on checkers. That’s exactly were I’m at.

Several people at the club have been adamant that it's all BS & he's staying. It's not our club's style to play ducks & drakes.
I for one believe he's going nowhere.

It's all pointing to him leaving at year's end and we are stage managing it very well to look after a guy who has done everything we could ask.

And that's a-ok with me. How players are looked after on the way out is as important as how you look after them.

Jungle drums are saying a change is happening. Dimma suggested it months ago publicly.

Are you suggesting he's not currently injured and he's on the sidelines so doesn't risk injury for trade/contract purposes?

Or if fit will play, but all aware he will move?

Buddy moving to the Coke Coast ??
What do they Duddy for? They have Cholly and the Skinny Twin. Cholly was meant to be the foil, but he's the star! Getting Duddy is a great way to send the Skinny Twin to play with his brother

Franklin possibly to retire on the GC not play for the suns

Personally, I reckon Dusty stays, but we are not going to know anything until post season. Until then I'm giving all my attention to our charge at making the finals, and the continued development of Cumberland, the Sonz, MJ and Miller.
