Definitely had the last laugh after the flopper in Daniher was barely sighted after quarter time.

Shaky first quarter. Rock solid after that.

Hugely important now Grimes is gone

Yeh, awfully soft free fired him up. Dopey joe didn’t get near it after that. Daniher isn’t worthy of such a great footy name.

After a shaky start at the rfc has now become our best key defender.

What is the current status of his hand injury? Still looks to be somewhat inconvenienced to me…. which makes his performances even more valuable. Solid as a rock!

Been a very good, astute pick up.
Hope it continues as he will be needed if we are going to make finals.

I always liked him as a player and I was rapt we chased him.
We have always struggled with the big foward in previous years Not this year.
He should be rapt that he joined such a good club. *smile* north

Not sure about his fault it was a shaky start. The ball was bouncing at right angles straight into the Brisbane players arms. Daniher got lucky with that bounce. Good pick up for a big man and good goal but without the lucky bounce he doesn't get the easy chance.

Starting to play like he used to at the Roos in his prime and that is heartening but for me he is still not quite gelling with the other defenders. I know we have had a big shake up in defence what with retirements and re-positionings and inexperienced new comers but we are still not seeing the rock solid defence of a year or so ago. I know our mids are not doing their job and the ball ends back in our fifty with monotonous regularity but at times we are all at sea.
With Grimes out for the foreseeable future Robbie has to lead the line as the most experienced defender we currently have and hope that the others support him
