Brisbane v Richmond September 1

Brave and wise selection.

Dropping a 300 gamer like Shedda is rewarding form not reputation. He is also the perfect sub.
Ross retaining his place instead of Graham is the same. His form in recent times is as good as anything fridge has produced this season. The risk of both Graham and Martin returning from injury the same week probably had something to do with it as well. George not in the 26 is also the right call.

Exactly what I hoped we would do as much as I love Shedda.

Graham an emergency so presumably fit and must have been close to selection. Also in medisub considerations depending on weather??

I'd say @eZyT 's VFL Index = 6 for Brisbane (Payne, Robinson, Robertson, Prior, Mathieson, Wilmot) and ours = 0. We should belt them.

Richmond's four emergencies for the Elimination Final are Edwards, Ivan Soldo, Rhyan Mansell and Jack Graham, with the Club to confirm which of the four players comes in as the medical substitute 60 minutes prior to the game.

It will be Graham surely. You wouldn’t pick him as emergency otherwise

In Martin out George I'd say for now.

Shedda likely to be the sub.

Gibbus, Sonz and Ross all get exposed to finals. Bold selection.

Not surprised to see Graham miss for one more week to get his foot Mickey Mouse.

If the Tigers get through this one against the Bears, I'd expect Fridge might be a possible inclusion for the Swans or Deez.

Its looking dire for George by the looks of things, needs to start hitting up some other clubs he's been usurped along with Aarts by Sonz, Cumbo and Moju.

Umps:
Simon Meredith (21), Robert Findlay (23), Jacob Mollison (32), Alex Whetton (19)

Whetton's a Queenslander so hopefully he's the emergency. They're not having four umps for the finals, are they? Are they???

Meredith is a good, very experienced ump. Findlay is a bit of a flake but not bad and been around a while now. Mollison used to crucify us but I think he's mellowed?

Findlay and Mollison give me shivers. Could only be made worse by O Gorman

As long as it’s not Deboy, O’Gorman, Stephens or Nicholls we’ve dodged a bullet

Unfortunately I talked myself into the bottom 6v6 scenario in the 2020 QF and got bitten on the bottom. ...
So... Champions they are all from what I see... Let's try our hardest and we may be rewarded!

Put the clamps on Cameron Hippywood and Danaboy .
We win ....

We all know that. It is a pity the AFL and scribes don't seem to!
