Geelong would have to be the most unlikely team to go B2B in recent memory.

Bunch of old guys finally taste success. Hard to see those boys being as motivated as they have been. Selwood gone who, after seeing him over the course of the GF and later, I have always underrated as a leader. Reckon he was a major part of holding that Geelong ship together. If Flopperfield takes over as captain is there a bigger difference in cultural make up of a captain? No significant talent of note coming through. They will probably be in finals territory but can't see them getting another cup

McCartney, just confirmed that with their TPP issues getting Soldo would've meant too much money coming back in. Also said that Richmond wanted to keep big Soldo.

I didn't think it was possible to get two midfielders from one club, it's historic what Blair has done.

I'll always run the counter-argument to moves I don't agree with but they are getting more right than wrong.

We are now in the premiership window for another two years. Didn't think that halfway through the year.

Both.
They had him on to talk about the Grundy trade but Lloyd asked him how did the Hopper trade go down.
DeRazio said other clubs offered the same deal in yrs etc but Jacob chose RFC..
Then he said he knows Kano whinges about long term deals. Kano responded that he hasn't got an issue the player getting 6yrs it's the club he more worried about.
Maybe if kane takes a step back and realises that 700k in 5yrs time will be the equivalent of a 500k deal.
With the TPP going up every year.
Players in 2028-2030 will be on an average of 500-550k
Top players could easily be on 1.5-2.0 mil a season.
But he doesn't want to hear that

Lloyd has been silent on us.
He is in shock.
Any call about us was brushed aside onto the next call.
Very little mention of our set up next year, our best mix etc...absolutely zero.
They were very joyful when news broke Hopper was going to Geelong 3 weeks ago and good Hopper is as a inside midfielder but as soon we get him.

Their accredited (controlled) media then push them.
