Already had geelong mate text me that they've brought in 4 first rounders...
And 3 1st rounders currently all reserves players.
Brunh couldn't get a game when half of GWSs midfield was injured.
Bowes 4 games for GC , rest in the 2's.
And Henry wasn't get a game at Collingwood..
That's Richmond quality 1st rounders

What a horror trade period for Hawthorn.

Traded out their 2 best mids and maybe their best forward. Brought in 3 players who may turn good but don't appear to be superstars (Stephens, Meek and Amon) and most importantly, despite taking on the salary for at least part of Mitchell / JOM they haven't improved their draft hand AT ALL in the 1st 2 rounds.

They’re tanking in 2023

What did pies get for Henry? And Geelong are pretty ordinary not trading Ratagulea when he can't even get a game.
And the media reckon the are great to deal with.
Geelong don't like letting players go to opposition clubs.
Because they come back and bite them on the ass, Josh Caddy ...

Short before Sonsie!!? I dont think so! Sonsie plays next year. Short either goes back to his HB role or he plays 2s. Has been terrible for a while

You realise Short finished 7th in the JDM right? Obviously doing what the coaches expect of him.

I agree, there'll be injuries weekly they're not actually locked in teams.
We'll probably be able to rest Cotchin every 5-6 games as well. Maybe no interstate games for him?

Nothing. Their next is like Pick 90 odd.

They basically have nothing but their 2 1sts across the next 2 drafts.
So I’m trying to remember, despite no F2, can they trade their F1 for a range of other F picks ?

Trying to work how/if they can move up in the draft to secure Clark. Right now 7 is very precarious.

Reckon that must be the busiest trade period we've ever seen by the end.
Looks like we're finally starting to really see significant player movement between clubs.

Isn’t Cooper Stephens a Geelong local? Is he going back next year?
Thats a breach of his human rights if they traded a Geelong boy to Hawthorn and forcing him to live in Melbourne. Surely there is a duty of care for the poor fella's mental health?

Looked it up, yes Colac/ Geelong Falcons. Thats funny. Trade out a Geelong boy, potentially causing severe trauma, in order to trade in a Geelong boy to heal his homesickness trauma. Fair dinkum.
