It's laughable some of the same names the media continually throw up as superstars of the game that grab headlines either their raring to go and their club will make the finals or they are injured and the sky has fallen in.

It prompted me to pose the question of the media's most overrated player in the game?

I didn't even have to think about :

Jake Stringer for mine.

How many times have you seen this head as a headline:

The bloke dusty shrugged off at the end of the 2020 grand final. whats his name? danger-something. I reckon he's fine when the team is flying, but as soon as geelong are needing a lift he starts spraying it out on the full. Not bad by any means, but i've never been convinced he's in that top echelon like the media make out

Can’t go with that one.

He has won a Brownlow Medal ….and finished runner up by 1 vote in another. And third in another.

The Bombers sure as hell overrated him. They got Shiel and a 2nd round pick, and gave up 2 first round selections:rotfl1 and Dodoro has still got a job:rotfl2

This maybe unpopular.
Has mega potential but for me he is an accumulator and not a damaging weapon.
