Jack Ross

He took a fantastic contested mark at half back I think it was. It was so out of character I took note.

Nonetheless, those saying he’s “ahead of lambert” at same age are kidding themselves.

Lambert had massive smarts and a huge ceiling to grow into.

Not to mention a huge tank that Ross does not have.

However, Antman has an incredible knowledge of our great game so if he’s talking Ross up as a long term replacement for Lablett how can I possibly disagree?
Lambert name his debut at 23 years old and had his first good season at 25 years of age.
In his first 2 seasons averaged 15 dis and was in and out of our side.
In 2017 he had the confidence to play like he was in the vfl after been told, in the vfl you are a hard running aggressive up and down the ground player, but in the afl u just don't run the same, after this he blossomed.
So it's not up for debate ,at the same age Ross has 49 afl games to 0 games.

This is a strange take though because you are essentially saying that Ross has even greater potential to succeed than Lambert due to the fact he “already” has a handful of games where Lambert was still kicking around the lower tiers.

Madness.

Lambert had the ceiling. Ross does not.

He is depth and depth in a middling team at that.

Delist.

It's weird living rent free in your head Carts. There's an old man stale urine smell and a lot of mould that you should get someone to take a look at.

With Hopper out Ross definitely keeps his spot, despite being quieter than the week before. Fair, Geelong are a bigger ask than West Coast and Ross was under instructions.

Interested to see if Dimma does give him more centre square time or whether he goes with other rotations through the middle.

Dimma definitely has a learning and development plan in place for Ross.

Better class of person on the 79 to be fair.

I say you care too much about your standing on this forum, you claim the mirror opposite into your riposte

I use “rent free”, cos clearly I am, you copy / paste into your riposte

You do not have a single creative bone in your body, and this translates into your perspective on football.

In any case, I will continue to post infantile, questionable, aggravating, uneducated content and you will continue to be obsessed with every word, like some dude with Cheeto fingers in his mum’s basement.

Such is the tidal rhythms of PRE.

Had a great debut year. I expected great things from there. Has stagnated could be partly due to the injury and opportunities. Looked accomplished on the ball back then. Good decision making and skills. I suppose what we're arguing here is has Ross already hit his ceiling or does he have more to give?

Ross Debut Year

For mine I reckon if he had more he'd be at his 2019 level or above already. I'm a fan but I'm also a realist. Promise him a block of games and see how he goes staking a claim. But I don't think he's going to be the jet we'd hoped after 2019.

What was the slight on him from the draft that saw him slide to 47?

disposal is terrible.

despite what many on here are claiming. is now reduced to 20m passes, which is fine as long he is playing a peripheral role and we are winning. at our best though and with more superhunks coming through I'd expect Ross to be jettisoned.

yeah, too much effort under that "lightness", dude

you are obsessed.

as always, I ask the following - let's ignore each other completely for a full year. more than happy to do it, as i have repeatedly said.

again, as always, I know the answer - you can't do it b/c you are a bunny boiler and everyone knows it.

pure and simple

Sure dude, will cut you some slack. See you next year for your annual round five "we must bottom out" thread and subsequent walk back.

ciao bello and go tigers
