2024 Richmond Coach

What a journey you've had with that lot. Broke and all the way down and out in non-league football to now competing to get back into the Premier League. You must be thrilled.
Thrilled doesn't enter into it! We (Luton) are in the premiership at long last! Now I have to get home and be ready for the Tigers to beat Port

Though Buckley has come out and said he's not interested in coaching RFC in 2024, I wouldn't be surprised if he said that just to diffuse mounting media speculation over the forthcoming months. If he is keen to get back into coaching I'd be surprised if he or his manager didn't have a quiet word at the appropriate time to RFC.

I'd be interested to know what key criteria they will use. For me, I think our approach to freeing up players mentally was a big part of our success. Look at Carlton on Fri night. They looked stressed out and played accordingly. So I want a coach who can bring back the positivity and get the group back into a better head space.

Fly and Leppa took the 20 pieces of silver.
Perhaps Mini takes over as senior coach.
He has been at Tigerland since 2014.
The time is ripe for Jack R to retire at the end of the year, become an assistant, then ultimately senior coach.
A great tactical genius of the game.
Will be Dimmas right hand man for the Devils.

Just watched the game.
Sensational and gripping finish.
You must be ecstatic.
Looks like they were coached to "just play".

Not fussed who we go with or if we completely clean the box , however Lambo is the one guy I hope we keep , in fact I’d nearly give him the gig now

Don't care who we get but other than lambo i would like the rest of dimma assistances gone. I would also like us to do a full review of the football department.

Think we need a new coach outside the 4 walls great the players and coaches get along but I think complacency can creep in

Buckley ruled himself out when asked before the game today vs Port.
I saw that, and I read that as he’s not going to give a headline just yet. And to tell you the truth, I absolutely think he will be in the race for the job. He’s playing his cards close to his chest for now.

That’s just to try and stop the incessant questioning they will inevitably get re coaching Richmond.
Good on McQualter for being appointed interim coach but I don’t want him as permanent coach. He has great assistant crap head coach written all over him.
Cast the net wide.

Chemistry causes explosions. the more I think about, the more we should look at Buckley imo.
He has so much personal unfinished business and will go after Collingwood like no other.
The Richmond man era is over for me.
Nice while it lasted, but we need to get back to being ruthless.
On victory we thrive, eat em alive !

It sounded very much to me like Bucks was interested in the Tigers from his call.of.the game.

Almost like he was picturing what he could do with our current pieces.

Sounded that way to me anyway.
