My fear is that Ange will say no because of Levy, not the other way around.
But Ange may also see Tottenham as a project he can fix.
And he also needs to be realistic… Ange is 58 in August, and he is unlikely to get too many chances of coaching a big club in the premier league (queue the Tottenham isn’t a big club jokes).
Spurs are like us especially pre-2017. Huge hungry supporter base. Big job for Ange if he gets it, but big celebration if he can take them to the top. I suppose if relegated Leicester did it just 7 years ago, then who knows.
Love Luton's stadium. So quirky. Even saw a shot this week of where resident's back windows look over the only just semi enclosed, really old school, 1940s style men's pissers (a bit like people describe the old Princes Park pisser behind the outer). Disappointment for Foxes fans after winning 2-1 they get relegated.
A Bournemouth equalizer against the Toffs would've had the Foxies stopping up.

Been a slow roll out of the Prem for the last year or 2 for Leicester who have been top 8 club for their tenure since their shock title win.
Disappointing for Leeds to drop out as they have a link with Aussie fans from the days of Viduka and Harry.
Everton still the only club not to have tasted relegation from the Prem, but only just, a draw wouldve seen em drop.

I often hear this quote, but it's always baffled me. Yes, they have been very successful staving off relegation. However, Everton have been relegated twice in their history. 1929-30 they were relegated from the first tier, gaining back their first tier status after only one season in the 2nd division. They were also relegated in 1950-51 and took three seasons to gain their first tier status back, for the 1954-55 season. Which makes their current stay in the top flight long, but...........not actually the longest.
Arsenal even more successful on this front, being relegated only once, in 1913. They gained back their first tier status, not through winning it back, but an enlarged first division in 1915-16 had them regain their div 1 status. Regardless, presently the longest stretch of any club in the top division.
Now if we were to look at it another way. Which teams have never been relegated from the top tier since the Premier League's inception? As in, when the old div 1 broke away from the rest of the league, to become the Premier League. There are 6 remaining:
Arsenal
Liverpool
Manchester United
Spurs
Everton
Chelsea
I do wonder though how long until this 6 begin to dwindle a little. Everton languishing too regularly. Cannot see them staving it off indefinitely. Chelsea? Who knows. Was this season a one off, or are they in serious decline? Not even the best team in West London now (actually third best in West London), let alone in their city, or in the league.
PT didn't the Russian Oil Baron sell up that owned Chelski and brought them their last successful era?
Has his departure coincided with Chelseas drop off in form.
If I recall correctly is Fulham like not far from Chelsea in the same near vicinity?
They were flirting in the lower reaches of the Prem table last season before this one just past.
Plenty of Big well known Top Flight Clubs have felt relegation in the last few years, West Ham, Sunderland, Newcastle, Wednesday and Everton cam as close to relegation as possible.
Kennilworth Road is going to be an interesting proposition for many of these Prima Dona Outfits when they visit next season.
Will be interesting to see how many of their high end players that Leicester can hang onto going into the Championship.
Blokes like Vardy, Tielemanns, Maddison, Iheanacho, Castagne, Praet and Bertrand. A few starting to get on in age though which might have contributed to their drop off.

Regarding Chelsea. The Russian sale does coincide. Having said that, they still spent an eye watering amount on transfers this year. More than any other club in Europe.......for a crapper of a result.

Indeed you are correct, Fulham are within very close proximity and are the 2nd best club in West London now. 1st place in West London goes to their further westerly neighbour, the plucky little Brentford. What a cracking season they had. Much respect for a very well run outfit. Very much overachieving based on the resources at their disposal. But at the same time, they look dug in, ready for a long, consistent stay in the top flight. Certainly don't look a flash in the pan.
The other major club in West London, being the fairly uninspiring QPR, who are obviously lower reaches of the Championship at present.
Philosophically speaking. These get out of jail clauses players have on their contracts on relegation, somewhat goes against the entire raison d'etre of promotion/relegation systems.
Essentially it means, a player has absolutely no skin in the game. It is of *smile* all personal consequence to them if they get relegated. As with the dominant hedonistic philosophy of modern society - All benefit, no consequence. Even more laughable if you are a player really not quite good enough to be at that level and hence, you are one of the contributors to that result. Where as logically speaking, fighting it out for survival in a league should be like you are fighting for your next pay cheque.
Realising of course that it obviously it doesn't work like that in practice. This is more of a philosophical musing.
