Nick Vlastuin

Young in takes a physical burden from Vlastuin and frees him to zone off. And Vlastuin is back to his best.

Nick was great all night. His goal topped it. I agree with your comments re Young. He beat his opponent hands down. Fisted the ball away and took a few marks. The thing about Young and Miller is, they need more time to developed more consistently. We expect them to be champions from their first game. Having the experience around them teaches them their role. I watched Broady and Balta having a few words, explaining stuff to Young.

Go back to somewhere near page 50-60 and read some of PREs finest saying we should have taken Grundy.
Fancy scrolling back 150 pages in a thread to take a potshot.

And fancy not thinking Brodie Grundy would have been the better pick and that Vlaustin has had a better career.

General pettiness off the charts. And still wrong.
It’s laughable. Trade Vlastuin. Hah hah hah hah…
Still would look at it, he’s not Royce Hart.

Is it just a coincidence that so many players are thriving under Mini?
Vlas another who has had a remarkable turnaround in form.

I think after so many years as coach Dimma was pretty stressed out and this transferred to the players. Mini is a stand-in coach so I reckon it has released the pressure and the players look a bit more relaxed.

As for Vlastuin, he really is looking as good as he has for a few years, just great. It helps that we have players around him who can nullify forwards which gives Nick more space to get off his opponent to intercept. It is essential Vlastuin can get some freedom as he reads the ball well, but this can only happen in a backline which can cover while he's off trying to intercept. It all has to fit together.

 I’m guessing it was you Scoop. (I’m wayyyyy to lazy to go check that, or anything else).

Most of us on here have wanted to trade out near everyone at some stage (we are after all long term Tiger supporters).

P.S…my boy Jacky G cops it all the time week to week depending on how he goes. Water/Duck/Back.

Hahahaha. I went fishing, was no scrolling required (feel free to tell me if i got the page numbers right!). I remember someone complaining the year we moved him in the middle, but couldn't remember who is was.
Thanks for putting your hand up.

Trade out Vlaustin for Grundy....we ain't winning three flags. But we would have an All Australian ruck.

Just watched again, the goals for Richmond. With Nick's goal, as soon as he picked up the ball, Grimes hands were up in the air behind him, knowing he was going to kick it.

Can play. These triple-premiership glamour defenders can carry three duds up the park. As soon as we can get the duds down to three Vlastuin can carry us, once again, to victory.
