Round 17 VFL Tigers v Southport game day

Hmm Sonsie two votes from commentator. Not bad for a Plodder. Just saying.....

Showed a bit of character to come back after that very ordinary start to the third quarter.

Mansell almost looks a level above. Trezise and Brown both putting together a solid block of form but neither have played a breakout game yet that demands selection. Hopefully soon.

Bradtke now consistently hitting the scoreboard. Good for him.

Probably the best game I've seen Bradke play. 3 goals and his pressure created that goal for Coulthard too
Bringing the ball to ground when outnumbered and competing aerially a lot more than the start of the year as well. Loves his progression as the year has gone on

Surprised me how good he is when the ball hit the deck. Some nice touches.

You talking about the same commentators who think Cumberland is Bradtke? Come on mate. Even his parents wouldn’t have given him votes.
Reckon they confused Sonsie for Mansell.
Mansell clearly the better player on the day.

Very hard to confuse Sonsie and Mansell when they kick the ball.

Watched quite a bit of the game. The team was very up and down so not sure that there was anyone who played well all game.

Sonsie, Nyuon, Mansell, Brown and Trezise all very good. Thought Cumberland was solid as well and looked engaged. Dow up and down but had some good patches as did Clarke.

Bradtke didn’t dominate but is looking a bit better

Really....LOL. Check the tuning on your TV. Yes Mansell great.

Bradke 3 goals, 4 marks, is looking better and better each week. One thing I have noticed he is working harder in and around the contest.
Brown, 25 disposals, and 5 marks. Uses the ball well, and controls that back half well.
Clarke, 16 disposals and 1 goal.
Used his pace well, and looked crafty around the packs.
Coulthard, 11 disposals, 4 marks, and 4 tackles. Has class, and got some tricks.
Cumberland, 14 disposals, 2 goals, and 6 marks. Followed up from his good performance last week of 16 disposals and 3 goals.
Dow, 20 disposals, 4 marks, and 1 goal. Solid performance backed up again from last week.
Mansell, 25 disposals, 2 goals, 8 marks, and 5 tackles. Very good game seemed to be everywhere. Top 3 for the team.
Biggy, 18 disposals, 10 marks, and 1 goal. Was dominant in the air.
Sonsie, 25 disposals, 1 goal, 4 marks, and 3 tackles. Took the game on and used the ball well. Just needs to win more of his own ball.
Trezise, 24 disposals, and 4 marks. Another solid performance, very consistent.

They started thinking about the votes in the last 3 minutes of the game. They pretty much made them up. Sonsie played his usual soft uncontested game and wasn't in our best 6 players.

Dow, Brown, Mansell, Biggy, Clarke and Trezise were all better

Nah, Sonsie was very good when we went 21 points down and was one of the catalysts to the come back.

Just on Mansell, with Short out for the next month will they look to perhaps play Mansell in the back half. He was sweeping well in the back ha;lf, ran hard, and worked hard. May well be back in the team next week against the Hawks.
