Exactly.

Whilst we're staring down the barrel of Nank getting out jumped by numerous other actual rucks and losing centre clearance after centre clearance, or better yet getting injured with an unready Samson to take his place.

This is a gamble that's manifested because he's one of the only players that is drawing any interest and that the club is happy to get rid of to get some pics.

This can easily go wrong.
Heard we have a kids ready to go
A SA kid or a kid from the VFL.
They aren't going into next year without back up for Nakas.

Priority They want is midfielders and ruckman

went this way this year, cause we don't man up in the centre. Bring in one tagger and the other two man up , 50/50 contest is what we need always

So, apart from Nank who will be out backup ruck man next year?
We did not go so well from bounces and throw ups this year did we?

Yeah hopefully there will be strategies that are developed during preseason; on too many occasions this year the centre clearances looked like a flash mob robbery.

Out of the box - but if Nank does bust a kazoo, we get through with Ryan for a few weeks and then use the mid season draft on the big, baddest ruck not on a list.

Not that loyal - he's been desperate to leave.
Only after we tried to move him to GWS in the Hopper trade.

And Wild ride and your support staff. of course the hole he fills and the availability of others to be able to perform a similar role effects his value.

it is a question of supply and demand.

The other thing that I'm seeing.....

Future 2nd and Future 4th?
We're having a clean out next year for sure if these picks aren't moved on via other trades.

Have to give up something to get something.
I’ll miss the big lug but we’ve pulled off a great deal.

Soldo also a very solid citizen too.

Very much in the Richmond Man ethos.

Tigers losing a lot of quality people from the club this year.

Even young Biggie is a good solid lad, up beat, and popular and well liked.

Ivan will help put the ball to the Port mids and will assist them no doubt.

Cheers Ivan always a Tiger hero.

Now time for Sambo to step up another level just as he did this season finished.

Tigers could be left with the arses hanging out again next season in regard to ruck stocks as happened this year.

Real sorry to see Big Ivan go but good luck to the guy and hope it all works out for him at Adelaide. However, I thing it was a wrong move to lose the only big ruckman we have as Nanks has trouble with some opposition and Ryan hasn't the bulk or the nous yet. Mind you Ivan was part of the deal to get Jacob so win some and lose some

I watched Jacobs game against the Bulldogs after his interest in getting to us was made known, and liked what I saw.
But he is no replacement for Ivan Soldo.
Marking is a problem still.

Has to work hard on his game and I certainly wouldn’t count him as a certain selection in our ‘24 round 1 game.
Ryan is the one who benefits most and I would think that it is he who is the more likely selection.

Will be some Cap relief also with Tiger Kings contract ending.

Club no doubt Lining up a FA or big fish trade or both I reckon.

Key Forward (junior or plug n play) and gun mid (junior or plug and play) on the trade FA shopping list for the next 12 months.
