Ayers applied for the Suns job. Has AFL experience with Cats and Crows and can do it IMO.

Can't understand why Hunt was in the centre for most of that last quarter. Why not Ellis or someone else who could use the ball.

Why was even Hunt on the ground.
Who's Sam Darley??

Very disappointing last quarter. After we got a good lead the lack of pressure applied to Port players was abysmal. They just waltzed through the centre of the ground passing to loose team mates at will. It seemed they had about 30 players on then ground. They were loose everywhere, forward, centre, back. Our big men were also not a factor when the ball hit the deck; they could not exert any pressure at all. Cymbals Hampson looked to have a reasonable game but dropped an absolute sitter on the near side wing that lead to a Port goal soon after.

A shame to lose that game after being in a strong position. But the VFL side has a had a great season and there is little doubt the competitiveness of the squad has had a very positive impact on our AFL season as well.

Hate to say it but they were the better side. Last quarter went for ages and we had our chances. If Griffiths had’ve seen Bolton screaming for it 25m out all alone it could’ve been different.

Griffens could be on the list for another 10 years, but still preform like a rookie.
He needs to be traded. Footscray need talls
Moore & Chol are miles away

Hamspon was actually very good most of the day but had to cymbals it up at the very worst moment.

How many get medals?? 300??
Got beaten by a suburban club. That trains under 3 floods lights 2 times a week.
Port Melbourne should be thrown out like Frankston and Nth Ballarat

Yeah how bad was that dropped mark on the wing. Bounced off his hands like concrete.

Exactly Zips.

A lot who had good finals game leading into the GF had poor games.

Maybe a bit more than 3 though.

True Ridley why the hell was Hunt in the middle for?

Full credit to Port. A victory for a struggling stand-alone VFL club that refused to give in, in more ways than one. Very well coached. Nahas kept finding space and using it well, unlike our mids who lacked speed and evasion.

Very good games from: Short, Lloyd, Garthwaite, Hampson, Beasley. Good: Menadue, Markov, Batchelor, CEllis, Conca.
