They were actually pretty good though.Bomber James & Steven Ryan
Andrew Underwood and Brad FoxThey were actually pretty good though.
Great post. Not to nick your thunder, but a couple of other points:
1. Given the injuries we have endured to key players, the fact he has been unwavering in his commitment to his playing style has been very impressive. Rugged defensively, hunt clearances, stick tackles.
2. His style is what the elite teams play and what is now THE way to play. Look at how we sag off manning the mark and look at how Dimma has the Suns playing. Yesterday's man still has his players manning the mark like it's pre 2021. There's a reason why they have been leaking goals constantly.
Loved Bomber James. If he wasn’t slow as treacle he would have been a very good player.Bomber James & Steven Ryan
Homewood the greatest Richmond player ever, to never to play a game.Loved Bomber James. If he wasn’t slow as treacle he would have been a very good player.
Steven Ryan could play a bit as well, as could his brother Des.
Do better Zips, Scott Homewood anyone?
I posted about that on Friday night after their game Mr P. Essendon cannot be successful in the long term with that game plan ….but let’s not tell them !!!Compare how we have played the last few weeks to the Bombers. They love their stat padders that take the easy safe option, but thats also a reason why they won't be winning anything anytime soon.
Yep, Patty is a good oneHomewood the greatest Richmond player ever, to never to play a game.
Your more a Patty Steinfort bloke
Dan Foley from the 1980’s!Loved Bomber James. If he wasn’t slow as treacle he would have been a very good player.

Kicked a bag to sink the Druggies at Windy Hill in ‘83. Respect.Dan Foley from the 1980’s!
Played 13 games for us and kicked 9 goals and 5 of them were in one game, against the bombers. We got excited and then nothingDan Foley from the 1980’s!
He did - one of his few decent games.Kicked a bag to sink the Druggies at Windy Hill in ‘83. Respect.
Two of the four goals were from frees against John Law - half his height. The next week at Waverley against West Coast, Lounder didn’t register a possession!Who could forget Richard Lounder. Kicked 4 goals in his first game v Norf in ‘89 and then went into oblivion.
He was built like Michael Roach and even looked a little like him. The resemblance ended there!!Played 13 games for us and kicked 9 goals and 5 of them were in one game, against the bombers. We got excited and then nothing
