Bowden's form of late has been worse than usual. I think he might have been told he's going to be traded.
Both Tivs and Joel got similar numbers today except Tivs hits targets and had an influence with 4 goals whereas Joel might as well been sitting in the stands.
I have to agree with that Crouching tiger.
Soft as butter, will not put his body on the line.
Bowden's effort, and undisiplined players like Zantuck and Fleming cost us the game.
Umpiring didn't help us either.
We should trade Bowden while he has some value. Fiora will step up next year and take over his role on the wing.
Ps Nicholls is a complete hack.

Triple MMM in Melbourne mentioned the PRE again saying its a good barometer for how tiger fans view their team.

Joel Bowden is another example of Richmond's atrocious record in player development.
He is an exceptional talent but coach after coach has failed to hold him accountable or instil within him the intensity required to realise his potential. Best for both parties if he is traded, hopefully to a club where a tough coach will help him become the player he should be.

Have to agree, he is useless.We should have taken the Western Bulldogs lead when they dropped his brother this week. Must be traded at the end of this year.
Maybe he does know he's on the outer and just going through the motions. I suspect that the other players know as well!

Get him well away from Punt Road, I dont want to see him set foot near us again, waste of talent, now a waste of space, the softest player in the AFL by a MILE, and Spud is the Softest coach in the AFL too. Did you see Connolly give it too his troops at three quarter time, I bet Danny was just saying "yeah ummm, i dont know, just umm yah ahh chip it around to the wings and ahh we'lll go from there, and ahh yeah wateva happens ummm yah nah were still a chance for finals, yeah umm..." or something along those lines!!

I tried to stay calm watching the game but 3 or 4 things really set me off;
1 Joel Bowden Was screaming at the telly, 'get him off'! 'Get rid of him'! 'He has to go'... and the like.
2 The umpiring Dumbfounding.
3 The lack of attack or system in the 'game plan' (for want of a better word).
4 The lack of discipline, and poor skills

worst umpiring I have seen in a long time. The first quarter of the prelim in 2001 haw v ess was bad, but at least improved. Yesterday was simply disgraceful. What part of mcmanus running 50 m to Zantuck to gloat over a goal is not inflammatory?
We have lacked a game plan beyond "kick it long and quickly to Richo" for years. My feeling is that it is not the coaches, it is the players not being able to carry out the coaches directives. Footy is a very simple game. Get the ball, and keep possession.
Coaches as a rule are overrated, and they don't kick goals. Unless we can get a premiership coach, stick with Frawley.

If i ever see Billy Nicholls wear a tiger guernsey again i am going to be disappointed. He was useles sand not up to it. If ever we had a dud he is it.
