Cricket

SL and Australia should be made to play a one dayer or T20 tomorrow. 2 lost days of cricket.

We have nothing to fear from England, it is a team of bits and pieces cricketers. One world-class batsman, one world-class bowler who will be 37 by the Ashes. Not sure what is going on with Broad - if Curran has overtaken him he is in deep trouble as Curran is ordinary. Bairstow at 3 - lol.

England might win the World Cup but if we find a batsman or two to go with Smith we could surprise them in the real stuff.

Agree wholeheartedly with Chris Lynn’s comments that the bbl season is too long. It’s been going for over a month and there’s still another 3 weeks to go.

Babar the Pakistani batsman is going to be a star. A fantastic strokemaker who is great to watch.

Straya 2/15. Harris gone for 11 getting out to yet another wide drive and then Usman to a very lazy waft outside off stump for a duck. Yet again Uzzy fails. I’d rather see a young un get a chance than continually give a 32 (or 35!) yr old opportunity after opportunity only to fail.

Khawaja's recent record is pathetic; staggering that he's still in the side.

Good hundred from Joe Burns, good knock from Travis Head, he's grown massively as a cricketer this summer.
Quality of the attache flatters them a little bit, but you've still gotta make em.

Yep agree. The Sri Lankans are pie throwers but at least we finally have a couple of batsmen who've put their heads down and batted like test batsmen.

Yeah, Burns and Head getting tons, good stuff. But TBH neither innings will go down in the annals as classic knocks. A second rate SL attack and a lot of mistimed shots. But yes, at least they’ve put their heads down and toughed it out.
