Straya 2/15. Harris gone for 11 getting out to yet another wide drive and then Usman to a very lazy waft outside off stump for a duck. Yet again Uzzy fails. I’d rather see a young un get a chance than continually give a 32 (or 35!) yr old opportunity after opportunity only to fail.

That's the worst dismissal of the summer. Pathetic, lazy. Displayed the sort of casual laziness he's always been criticised for.

Perhaps his brother's issues have affected him more than appears?

He should be no certainty for England.

The next Test we play, Smith will be available won't he?
No brainer ... out Khawaja, in Smith at 3.
I've been a fan of Khawaja but not any more. That was an absolute shocker, and the look on his face as he walked off told me he knows it's over.

Harris not much better but I can forgive his blemish - he's got youth on his side. Khawaja has had more than enough chances now.

Warner will be back too but I hope they don't pick him. Move on.

Warner will be straight back in.

Khawaja's recent record is pathetic; staggering that he's still in the side.

That shot he played made him look in the same ilk as a number 11 division 4 cricketer. No room for him as part of our next team squad.

Leysy would never pick Warner again. Cancer.
Couldn’t agree more, an not that it should matter greatly but the Australian Cricketing public despise this guy more then any other Australian cricketer that’s played the game. I wouldn’t bring Smith back either , but that’s just because I can’t stand the smug flog either.

Yeah same, he has to go now.

I had the same view, but am coming around. Firstly, there are plenty of redemption stories and people deserve a second chance. Secondly, Warner was a product of our culture. He was essentially doing what he thought he needed to do.

He’s clearly not a leader, but he can bat. I hope he gets back in. More importantly, I hope he’s learned from what he did.

As so often happens on the next morning after a batsman has scored a big not out score Burns goes for 180.

I seem to recall Warner had "learnt" his lesson on previous occasions, doubt at 34 he's suddenly going to learn now.

Here's what gets me most about Warner.
He was in his 74th Test and it seems he has cajoled his junior opening partner (8 Tests) in to cheating.
If he thought doing this was so important to the team, why didn't he do it himself?

Scumbag.

If I was Bancroft I would never speak to him again, let alone bat with him.
Then again, if I was Bancroft, I'd like to think I'd have told him where to go in the first place.

If Smith couldn’t do it, what makes you think Bancroft could? Maybe they didn’t want to?

The info I have re this .. its is rumoured that Warner is a scary ,controlling, bully , narcissistic type of guy . Other players were/ are a bit wary / scared / intimidated by him ..
Not the type of guy who is a good role model for the young guys and not good for a team re building . I would be happy if he doesn't play for Australia again..But I guess he will .

It’s a worry that the side representing the baggy green could be intimidated by an angry little angry ant .........disappointing.

Bloody close to the most disliked sportsperson in Australia, I reckon I’d rather have a herbal tea with Anthony Mundine then Warner.

The English cricket team getting a good old fashioned flogging from the Windies
