I got a lot of joy every time the camera panned to Eddie.

Close enough to the Renegades colour....

Stoinis is the most overhyped cricketer in the country. His first class record is about the same as Mitch Marsh's test record. Batsmen lick their lips when he comes on to bowl.

Harsh, besides his last year in Victoria and his 1st in back on WA (coincidentally the time his dad was very ill) he has consistently averaged over 40 with the bat.
his bowling is ok, but he is clearly a batting all-rounder.

Geevesy does it again today. Courtesy of the Mockery..

... describes the collapse of the stars...
.. alludes to possible dodgyness...

"Of course I am being cheeky here. Nothing of the sort is going on. Our BBL and international stars make so much money that they don't need to fix games. It's why when I played for the Delhi Daredevils in the IPL I truly expected to be approached by a bookie for info or to attempt a fix.

I was the lowest paid player in that tournament. Offer that player 200K to bowl a no ball and he's going to consider it more than the fat cat who just signed on for US1.8 million.

Although if you watched the game where I bowled four overs for 0-54, it would have been fair for you think that I was profiting financially from that performance via corruption.

In fact, I'd rather that you think that than know that I was literally shaking when bowling to Sanath Jayasuriya and Sachin Tendulkar on the back of two hours's sleep, no training for a month and vodka seeping from the pores of my brow and into my mouth as I ran in to bowl. It should have been me licking my lips and not Sanath and Sachin.

Yep, like the the Stars I was just sh!t"

He averages 30 with the bat, 42 with the ball. He's a bitser.

His technique is not up to test level IMO. Because he is the pin up boy we will likely find out.

Second test South Africa V Sri Lanka, South Africa won the toss and batted, after being 0/15 they're now 3/15, go you Sri Lankan's.

The way Sri Lanka are playing against South Africa *in* South Africa ... sheesh ... maybe our series flogging of them was a bit more meritorious than the masses originally thought.

South Africa all out for 222, will be interesting to see how the Sri Lankan's go as the the balls doing a bit.

Not long after tea on day two, South Africa are 6/103 in their second innings with a lead of 171. Looks like this test will be over one way or another on day 3, go Sri Lanka.

Sri Lanka 2/60 at stumps on day 2, now 2/74 on day 3 needing another 122 runs to wrap the series up 2 nil.

Well that is the most extraordinary series result I have ever seen.
I wonder what odds you could have got on Sri Lanka winning that 2-0.

Amazing. And great to see the saffers beaten at home like that. Their batting is so fragile.

Bancroft looks to have booked a seat on the plane to England. Good luck to him.

Yep, too soon for that.
Not only that, but Warner will almost certainly be in, plus Burns and Harris, and Khawaja is a more than capable opener. That's enough. Bancroft's angled bat would get him in trouble in England too.

I’d rather Bancroft than khawaja. I’m tipping usman not in the test side by ashes end.
