Crazy the knocks on The Kid on here. Horrible drop, but possibly the only one on record like that in a decade.

Is leading us to be the best placed position in nigh on two decades to win the Ashes in England and the knockers are out.

Bizarre Leysy needs to explain to Richmond supporters of this era, the value that exceptional leadership and presence brings. But there you go.
Bryser, we're allowed to make valid criticisms. His bowlers and England's garbage batsmen have saved his blushes.

Aussies with a bees ...... in front after day 2.

I reckon if we bat all day tonight we are positioned well to win, but if we the pommies end up with any sort of lead, we are in big trouble batting last.

Disappointing to see Warner fail again. His reputation as a test batsman overseas continues to wane.

Hes a flat track bully. Broad bowling beautifully to him.

Pretty evenly placed at the moment. 250 not a great score but might will be OK if Smith fails.

Yeah, I doubt Smithy will be pulling out 2 tons again so someone else will need to step up.

Don't disagree with Leysy often but that's not the first drop nor the first fumble.

He's regularly fumbling & dropping standard takes - understandable given the condition of his fingers. But he's keeping has dropped off.

No doubting his leadership but not that hard to lead in the circumstances given what preceeded him & the firm guidelines provided.

An away ashes victory - not a bad way to bow out.

Bancroft seems to play the same shot every ball and it looks terrible.

It’s a front foot defensive thrust with an angled bat and his back leg bending around from the slips. Awful.

looked plum, but was a little higher than i first thought. Good ball though, deserved the wicket.

Even though the lbw put Bancroft out of his miserable innings it was yet another *smile* ball tracking.

Bancrofts test scores since debut November 2017 : 5, 82, 10, 4, 25, 26, 27, 0, 5, 53, 38, 24, 77, 26, 8, 7, 13 @ 26.87. It’s a list of mediocrity.

Thanks Cameron but that’ll do for a while now.

Khawaja must go. I can’t cop these mark waugh lite dismissals any longer.

I’d rather blood a kid than watch Khawaja disappoint when we need him most.

We need a quality WA mediocrity....Bring back Craig Serjeant!

Steve Smith v England.
Our batting is terrible
Yep, Warner is half the batsman overseas that he is at home, Bancroft abysmal, Khawaja doesn’t ever look like becoming a consistent test quality batsman, jury still out on whether Wade can become a quality test batsman at no. 6 and Paine averaging 20 at no. 7 over the last 10 months

I don't get why there hasn't been more questions asked about bancroft being selected.

Was *smile* before sandpaper gate. Nothing has changed since.

I reckon there must have been a deal done when he was banned for a year. No other explanation.

You know that’s what he offers. An attractive 20-30 and that’s all

At least Mark Waugh would average mid 40s before he got himself out

in the old days we would have hard nuts batting at 3. Not anymore
