Cricket

lol that's all tongue in cheek stuff TM. Kohli is v-lining into blokes and arguing with fans. Then he's undermining the captain. India has had our measure for ten years now and bc they're on the decline he's struggling to cope with the loss of power and resorting to violence and blame when he's got the problem. He's a horrible human being and only adored by Indians. All our legends who i suspect you're referring too are all well respected after they retired. Kohli got booed which says it all really.
So Virus got booed for bumping a player, not the first time that's happened. Pretty sure Lillee kicking Miandad up the clacker was a far worse action within the game, but he's an out n out hero. Then Hadlee's a wanker n Jardine's bodyline was a disgrace that had nothing to do with playing the gentleman's game of cricket, and there's been plenty of players from all countries upset n annoyed the oppo fans over the years for pushing the boundaries, quite a few for outright cheating of the rules. Probably not many that had as bad a rep for in your face aggressive cricket or cheating as the Ozzies of a few years back.
Kohli's a brilliant cricketer, he's got the game, the strut, the arrogance and the competitiveness that helped forge India into a dominant cricket team. Pretty much at the end of his ability now as father time catches up with him, but he'll always rate as one of the best of the game for the entire package that he's brought to the game and Indian cricket.

Funny how the Moggies pensioners shuffled their zimmer frames to a flag in 2022 n it looks very likely that the Ozzie pensioners will shuffle their zimmer frames to the Border - Gavaskar trophy in a few days. Bloody side is definitely in need of a major regeneration very soon, but who the hell is kicking the front door in demanding a spot?

Surely you could access Kayo via a VPN?
I can and I do. That is how I currently watch it. It works for the most part but it occasionally crashes due to one of two errors ("unsupported browser" and "you are using a VPN - please disable it"). Both of those errors are intermittent and are resolved by a random combination of refreshing the browser, re-signon to KAYO, re-connecting the VPN. It's strange that after that action, the error is gone but the condition it described is still there.
I also have been unable to get KAYO's app downloaded across the VPN. The stream works but not the app download.
And I am stuck with the iPad. I can get it to my flat screen TV but the intermittent problems are worse and the quality not as good.
All up, the VPN is a pain in the neck but ultimately my only option. This is all so much easier and better if you can get the feed without the VPN.

Also I have emailed Cricket Australia about this (annually) but I never get a response.

A very mature innings by 21yo Cooper Connolly, 48 not out from 34 deliveries. He came in with the score 2 for 5, has batted beyond his years.

Any thoughts of aiming for a draw in Sydney... If we win we go to the test final.
Think the team will be keen to win and confirm their place.
(Plus they,ll want to win everytime).

Sth Africa is locked in and we'd be confident against them.

Always start by playing for the win then fight for the draw if you have to. Can be fraught with danger that playing for a draw caper, 1 false shot n ya can get buried under an avalanche in a big hurry. Just ask India how big n fast an avalanche can get.

This is the difference between Australia and some of the other countries, especially sub continent.
If this was a series in India and they were up 2-1 you could be guaranteed that the pitch would be a road for the last test to go for a draw. It’s been well reported in previous series that the Indian captain is asked about the type of pitch he wants.
This won’t happen here but even it did there is a frailty in both team’s batting that makes a result probable on a road of a pitch.
As an aside there is significant rain forecast on Friday, Monday and Tuesday in Sydney

I have seen Indians on X saying, the test is being played in Sydney due to the predicted rain.
Making sure India can't win. 🤣🤣🤣

I haven’t been on X for ages but have been looking at the comments. It truly is amazing.
We definitely bribed the 3rd umpire, that’s the collective view.
Amongst all that I have been amazed of the number calling for Kohli to be dropped.

Monday 33 with 0-1mm
Tuesday 28 with shower or two. 4mm (50%) up to 15mm (25% chance)

I'm in Sydney atm and there'll be enough play for a result imo

Hmm. The supporters of the same team that demands that the 1st test of each series not be played at the Gabba so they don’t start their campaigns 0-1 🤔

Could this be the fresh, dynamic lineup Australia needs for the fifth and final Test against India?

Sam Konstas

Usman Khawaja

Marnus Labuschagne

Steve Smith

Travis Head

Beau Webster

Alex Carey (wk)
-

Pat Cummins (c)

Jhye Richardson

Nathan Lyon

Scott Boland

With fitness concerns surrounding Mitch Starc and Mitch Marsh struggling to find form, it’s time for a breath of fresh air. Enter Beau Webster, whose all-round prowess for Tasmania has been nothing short of phenomenal over the last 18 months. Can he bring that sparkle to the international arena? I sure hope so! And Jhye Richardson—if he can keep that pesky shoulder in check, there's no stopping him from becoming a regular game-changer in the Baggy Green.
