They were but its a pretty pedestrian SA bowling attack. Medium pacers Kane Richardson, Luke Robins, Nick Winter and then spinners Adam Zampa, Travis Head and Tom Andrews.First extras not conceded until 0/186, very unusual. At least SA were careful with the front foot.
Tim Paine second first class 100, about 12 years since his first.Alex Carey belted 100 against the Vics. Tim Paine 71 n.o. for Tassie.
Doesnt matter, apparently he's a lock for the first test.....Warner, first ball duck, second innings of Shield match.
Not sure we need another form of cricket .. 4 is probalbly too much with one dayers losing intrest .. tests and 20/20 seems to be an ideal mix for differnt fan tastes .I love my Test crick and have got into 20/20 with following the Current champs the Remegades ( good year the Renegades and the Tigers in 2019 ) used to go to the big bash and enyed when I was still in Melboune ( left 2016 to live in Botswana ).. So Dont know if we need another short form of the game ... Time will tellSo 100 ball cricket is gunna be a thing. The first draft period was held for the English Version , The Hundred, and 10 Aussies were drafted: Finch, Warner, Short, Smith, Maxwell, Starc, Coulter Nile, Lynn, Christian and Zampa.
It’s funny how it took 100 years to move from 4/5 day cricket to one day cricket then 30 years to go to 20/20 then 10 years to go to 100 ball cricket. You’re right there.Yeah, it’s a mess. I think January and February were left to allow the bigger names to play Big Bash.
Should've known. Obviously only 5 tests and no 6th one for Tassie.Yeah, it’s a mess. I think January and February were left to allow the bigger names to play Big Bash.
more Americanisation *smile*So BBL is introducing a time out that can be called between overs 7-13 to discuss tactics. Cool....
