Yep it was a big tremor. Went for a good 30 seconds I reckon. House was shaking quite violently. We have a few over the years but that's the biggest I can recall.

Yep. Felt one in 1982 in the morning at Burwood. That really shook the relative's house. Stood in doorway and I was swaying

Thought firstly it was the wind.
My car shook violently.
got out of the car thought someone I knew was shaking my car.
Stopped. Thought my car was about to...felt like it going to blow up. Seemed like 30secs.
