He was out round 1 with a corky. Looked like he was still hampered by it.
Was still limping a little as at the Monday prior to the game when I saw him at a cafe. Was a fairly decent corky he received, will be much better this week with a long break and the run under his belt.

Let's admit it. Duz is getting close to the end...just like Grimo. We need to move on.

Our champion superstar was worth $5 million plus a year in 2020. Now a $350,000 A year player. Great memories Dusty but it's close to over!

Unfortunately we lose alot of run and spread when he's in the middle and we lose defensive pressure when he's in the fwd line.

Why do our old champs jump off the cliff and the Cants old players just keep on producing like an Eveready battery. Burnt out or poorly managed not sure!

Cos our blokes ran emselves into the ground 2-3 years earlier due to the taxing game style we played for 4 years relentlessly.

It killed em off faster, Edwartds, Bash, Castagna, Cotch and Lambert as well as Dion our hardest two way runners. Throw Graham in there as well he's a crock now as well.

Had a good year last season, but trade value is gone now. Has to finish up with us, on mid lvl cash. I really can't see GC going after him unless he absoulutely kills this season, and I cant see that happening with time catching up with everyone.

That last contract was worth its weight in gold. A legend in every sense of the word.

Still hoping we see plenty of Dusty magic this year, but if we don't, its all good. His cup is full.

There's a lot on that Craig Bellamy.

Dangerfield born same day as Chimp and whilst copped a soft tissue this week, was BOG last week.

Add Caddy, Grigg, Grimes to that list. But also DRioli and Butler to those who needed a change after being burnt out from the relentless running the game plan required.

But you know what - The 3 flags justified the means.

Would anyone - Players, Coaches, Members change it?

Maybe. Or perhaps it's just that wonderful, relaxed lifestyle down on the Bellarine? Or is it their 'secret herbs and spices'? After all, the weapon et al were at the Cattery with Bomber coaching before both going over to the Bummers.

But, despite the annual predictions, the Moggies never seem to fall off that mythical cliff. Not yet at least.

And the Cats barely have to move every 2nd week when they play on the oval without wings.
