GAME DAY - TIGES V SAINTS

Great win and lots to like about many performance but I think the two big takeaways from the game:
1. Marlion can ruck - small sample admittedly but easily the best 2nd ruck we have tried! Hope we persist with this tactic it shows great promise.
2. Mansell can play - have a player here - he has a bit of the Bakers about him.

Nank was awesome tonight - monstered them all game. Our connection is getting better but we have plenty of room for improvement and we won in a canter!

Hocking is 're-shuffling' the draw.
He is irate that we can win by 15 goals at our least liked venue

Stkilda will always be Stkilda. Just a gutter club.
There plan for the future was to bring in anyone that breathes and cross their fingers that translate's into success.
Hill, shocking decision no way you pay him the most at the club. 900k the bloke that signed off on that should walk straight out the door.
Jones. Injury prone Mitch Robinson. 450k
Crouch, why pay 700k and not develop a kid in the middle. To slow for there game style.
Hannebury. 700k for doing absolutly sweet FA. Gets injured sneezing.
Ryder, not reliable why recruit him.
Frawley, just proves how dumb they are.
At least Higgins got his dream playing for his beloved weak and flimsy football club.

About the 3rd post from u re Nank. He was actually great, destroyed his opponent IMO and did so all game. Crazy talk right here.
I thought he was very avg in the 1st half, keep reading, he was one of our best in the 2nd

in 1980 we beat them by 150+ up at the SCG

I was there that day, my first ever game. My Uncle took me along to watch it.

I was so excited.

But my main memories of the day are driving to the game with my scarf hanging out the window of my Nan's car, and running out of space in my budget to record the number of goals some of our players kicked.

Lonie for the saints is the new Selwood. Always ducking playing for the too high free kick.

90% why they wont go near winning a flag.
Selfish, uncountable and flimsy footballer.
Couldn't stand him before last night and nothing has changed.
Is Billings over Bomtmytelly worse then Fiora over Pavlich? It has to be close

I'm really pumped for tonights game. not sure why. probably because i know we're gonna win and I enjoy beating st Kilda more than most teams.

I had a nibble on us at -27.5. i wanted to do 40+, but didn't have it in me. sometimes you need to go with your first instinct.

I dont reckon we had a single player who didn't have a case for coaches votes last night.

possibly DTLD was our worst, and he was very good.

quite an incredible even team performance

Another great thing from last night's result is that we can now sit back and watch some pretenders belting each other up. I haven't watched a lot of other games so far this season but I think I'll be keeping an eye on some of these.

Collingwood lose? Bucks gone? Or WCE drop out of the Eight?
Sydney v Giants will be interesting.
Blues v Port at the MCG
Lions v Bombers in Brissy
I hope Hawks have a crack into Melbourne, but won't matter. If we bring last night's effort against the Dees they'll fold too.

You beat me pointing this out. Still thought it was a puzzling game from DRioli though; cannot work out if he's more of a strength or weakness atm. Sure, did some good things and kicked straight for that angled goal.
But too fumbly often and why does he keep losing his feet so much? Missing the clean hands he used to show.
Enigma. Worked hard. Hard hands and ice skates for boots last night. When his cousin is ready I can only see him replacing Dan or Aarts so Dan might realise the clock is ticking.
