What a win! One of the most intense games I have watched! My heart was beating off the scale.
So proud of the boys, what an achievement for this great football club to reach their 3rd GF in 4 years.
I love this club so much!!!

I also want to say to all the salty Port flogs on social media who have been going off at our club all week, at lynch and to top it off blaming the umpires tonight for supposedly helping Richmond win.
Port played on their HOME ground, they played in front of their HOME fans and won the free-kick count.
Port had all the advantages to win but they lost to a BETTER TEAM that's it, no excuses the better team won in a hard-fought out game.

That's the first time I've ever paced. I had to stand after Dixon kicked truly my stomach was in knots! Never had it before!!!!

I haven't wanted to win a game so bad as this one for so many reasons but mainly because I'm sick of the media tainting us at every turn, even the commentators picking Port frees when they didnt get 'em!

The hate is palpable.

I thought my eyes were deceiving me. I’ll need to check the replay but could have sworn his own player took him out?
Your eyes are not deceiving you. The Port player's team mate hit him high accidentally and the umpire paid a free against Richmond o_O That's how it is for us now:rolleyes:

I', still speechless after that game my fellow Tiger supporters - we are going to remember the last 4 years and look back on them as the best days of our football supporting lives as Richmond fans.

Savour these days and make them count, for WE know we are living these times in rarified air.

As is stratospheric air.

We are being repaid for out lifetime of loyalty, in spades !!

We are a class above individually AND collectively, and the envy of the footballing establishment, hence the hate. Whatever happens next week, we are winners.

EAT EM ALIVE next week Tiges !!

Thought Hinkley was all class until the deliberate OOB came up. You could see he didn't like it, but they got way more of those than we did, and that was clear. Even all the commentators agreed that he disguised it awfully as it was clear he was just trying to put it OOB. Isn't that exactly what the rule was brought in for.

That deliberate out of bounds by Hartlett was the most blatant I have seen all year. He was 3 metres from the boundary with 2 team mates close by. He did not even try to tap it to one of them. Didn't even look at them. Had eyes only for the boundary line and he put it right in the middle of his 2 team mates. Deliberate as clear as day.

*smile* off Port supporters you inbred morons.

What an amazing win. 4 months away from home playing the top team on its home ground; a team that has been at home in their own beds all year. And yet we still beat them. But apparently we only win finals because of the MCG.

Sorry? What's that??

So proud of this team and this club :clap2

The boys are going to enjoy that warm Queensland saltwater the next few days after a crunching game like that one
