The Red Jacket is here !!!! YEEEES !!!

1712557944721.png

At last, the 2024 Red Jacket from the hallowed grounds of Drofgusta is here. Amen Corner to that.

What are we gonna get this year, after Toigs won running away in 2023 ? What about angle ankle who was the first PRE'ender in 2023 to go back to back in the majors ? Can he triple !!! ??? Tenacious ? The 2022 winner ? What's he got ? And what about golf's journeyman, old mate Moops. He desperatey wants it. A winner could come from anywhere this year I feel.

OMG.

Ok. The rules again:

Pick eight players with a combined price of 350 or under. Best six scores are counted EACH DAY and added up for a daily team score. The daily team scores are then added up each day to provide a rolling leaderboard with the lowest total at the end of 4 days being the winner (Redford P. Reds).

Any players in your team that don’t make the cut are given a daily score of field average plus two.

In the event of a tie, the lowest final round team score wins.

Any WDs will be subbed by the player immediately below your WD.

Entries close Thursday April 11 at 5pm.

Anybody is welcome to play. Good luck and may the best Redford win.

Drofgusta yeah baby !!!!!!

Old mate Moops taking a different approach this year, ignoring local on course form and tipping with his gut from afar.

I want that jacket, I crave that jacket, and it shall be mine, mine all MINE !!!!

Line up for 2nd place y’all. That’s the best you can all hope for !!!

How good the Masters channel !

100 odd hours of previous highlights to get the juices flowing.

Heaven on earth, man I love this course !

Fightin words there Moops. Fightin words.

I see many permutations this year. Snuffler the clear favourite….but I dunno. The rest of them…. you could throw a blanket over about 20-30 blokes.

And of course, the Red Jacket is almost always won on value players playing well. Those cheapies that finish top 10-15.

Who will they be this year ? Freddie !!!??

Agreed Red.

I wanna pick Scheffler, but if his putting is off Augusta will find him out big time.

And yep saw Freddie Cool down there at a tempting number, always plays well at ANGC.

Going to be a ripping tournament with, as you say, a stack of chances.

That was quick Beets !

Masters week.

Finding it tough to pick a LIV player, their website is a disaster. Imagine Rahm will do well. Smith is playing crap but putting the lights out.

Meronk is a personal favourite but driving it a bit *smile* according to stats. You can get away with that a little at Augusta if you miss it on the right holes in the right spots.

Hard to get 8 players in the 350.

Can you take less than 8 players as long as you stay under the 350?
