Thought he showed some promise. I reckon playing him outside has been to get him to learn an outside game. At some point put him back in the guts and you have a complete mid

??? I must be taking crazy pills again. Ross is the polar opposite of a PRE whipping boy. His best is pedestrian.

15 of those missed the target though and his opponent ran around picking up touches at will.
That's my point. They're teaching him an outside game. Open ball is not his go but they're teaching how to get them.

Getting 20 contested touches each week will end your career by 26.

drafted as an inside mid.
Currently being played on the outside.
I'll form an opion once he gets played as an inside, whenever that might be.

Can’t believe they went with Parker over Ross in the center bounce.
Yes agree. Wing is a specialist position. Parker has more traits for that role than Ross. Surely Ross gets extended midfield time today, but no..

25 touches, 21 uncontested. Played his role. Hardly pedestrian
Thought he was great today. Ran hard up and down the wing. Can't believe the negativity.

Add 539 metres gained and 3 rebound 50s and 4 inside 50s, it was a solid performance.

Thought Jack busted his gut as option down the wing today , not sure he’s going to make the grade , however deserves another couple of games

I can believe it and a good move. Parker played mid the previous week. Ross replaced KMac on wing when injured and has played there ever since. Both were in my bests today. Admittedly pickings were slim.

Him and Graham never seem to be in the middle. I thought that’s where we drafted them to play??
Good point. Geelong was using their big bodies to bully us in the middle and we played the 2 Jacks on the outside. Not sure of the thinking.

Yep was told to play on swing and stay outside, did that. Gets a tick.

Played his role. We don’t see him as a inside mid right now for whatever reason.
