Kane Lambert

He has smashed it at every level he's played CC.

Finally got midfield time after being a full time small forward until this year.

Good coaching to give him that opportunity. Has elite traits there that we have harnessed.

Might now be the best Lambert to ever play for Richmond.

Nah - you stick Craig in last year’s team, he averages 35 possessions a game, 20 contested. The man was a ball magnet when we were at our shittest.

Having said that, Kane has turned himself into a running machine - one very few can keep up with. Certainly no one at Adelaide! :hihi

Yep, Kane's relentless running, and just as important, his timing at stoppages to hit the ball at full burst, have turned him into a very good player. Call me Saul, I'm converted.

(Wait. Saul changed his name to Paul when he converted, right? I'm hazy, was always a bad Catholic. Just keep calling me spook.)

I'm changing my name to Blind Faith.
I'm a convert too

Holy Ghost?

Great story ....... Battler turned hero ,

Cant wait to see the movie .

I would have Jack Higgins following Lambert around for the next few years. Lambert will be a coach in the making with his fine attitude, excellent communication skills and his pure grit. It’s been a pleasure to see him make it.

Well said.

Never seen a bloke at his age improve so much, they should rename the most improved award to the Lambert

agreed. The most impressive thing about Lambert is the number of times he has broken free from a ball up to shot for goal. if he gets his goals percentage up, he will be more damaging.

Those 2 contested marks he took were tremendous, one on the wing and one on the HFF which he kicked to Jack for first goal 4th Q. Bloody fantastic. Been saying it forever, around the ground contested marks by non-KPPs win finals.

Danny boy took a few rippers in the finals. Vlastuin took shitloads.

Ive used all my data for the month and got snail internet, can someone post some marks stats from our boys through September

My favourite moment of the GF was when our smartest footballer Grigga hand balled over the top of a bunch of crows to Lambert for that goal. Too smart. Too good.

So good, even now

Yes a great play by grigg and the crowd starting to surge as the ball clears the pack into Lamberts hands is something to behold.

Hand placed firmly on their throat.

And we never let go!

“I told Kane Lambert he was meek and mild in the seniors but like (Gary) Ablett in the Twos,” [Chocco] Williams said. “We sign off our messages now with ‘I am Ablett’.”

Followed by Bruce saying "oh yes, yes, yes".
