Interesting this comment in The Age:

"However, a source said the feedback provided during the review process made it clear it was best for the club to act immediately, with several players understood to be considering their futures at the Kangaroos if changes weren’t made."
What a bunch of turds that run that club.
They were the ones that sent out a SOS to Noble to come and help rebuild.
So he leaves his job at Sydney, moves his family back to Melbourne and then gets dumped only after 38 games?
While these turds who begged him to help, keep their jobs.
Noble wasn't the problem, it's the people running the club.
Fish rots at the head down.

Smaller clubs like North need the Highest Calibre Administrations, especially when they are in a low success phase.

Always the way. Coach is the first n usually the only one that gets the boots laid into them when the *smile* hits the fan. Wonder if that Walsh bloke is gunna bother asking the blokes from recruiting why they all packed up n left mid season.
Year ago this mob were big noting how they'd worked *smile* out n they'd be back playing finals n chasing flags within 2 - 3 years. Now the recruiters are gone, the coach is gone, players are praying some other club will offer to poach them rather than have to renew their contracts at #Lolnorf and they've already got the begging bowl out grovelling to the AFL to give them priority picks to save them from the damage they caused when they ripped their list apart.
Disband them n hand the licence to Tassie. Let the Taswegians have first pick over whatever meaty bones might be still clinging to #Lolnorfs carcass and whatever footballers they can find elsewhere to build a team from.
#Lolnorf once again *smile* all over their own bed n it's about time they were made to lie in their own mess instead of bleating for others to clean up for them again.

Numpties like Cornes love to *smile* and moan about Richmond getting 14 games at the G, a ground we share with 4 other clubs, but when will numpties like him whinge about Geelongs home ground advantage, 9 games at a ground they share with no one else, get to train on and have a 90% win rate at because they largely play the lesser performing and interstate teams there?

Yes yes, but it's not Richmond!

How Buckley giving Noble 3 years to make finals?

Their president says they've got a 'terrific list'.

Completely deluded, the lot of them.

No , no, no, no, no.

Their list is the best n the league.

Certifiable grand finalists next year or the year after. Mark my words!!!!!!111!11!!111!1!!

Dynasty beckoning by 2027.

All they need is a plug-n-play coach. That bloke from Adelaide a few years ago should do the trick.

AFL can just sit back and watch the rags to richest, mediocrity to megastars, caterpillar to butterfly transformation take place in front of all of us.

Certainly no intervention from the suits required.

And certainly no draft help.

according to footballing expert David King, Clarkson mightnt be the right person to coach the Roos as he may not believe in the draft. King reckons Ross Lyon should be strongly consider though.

Lyon doesn’t waste his time building lists up. He gets the best out of his stars and neglects developing the rest. Once done, he leaves the club in a huge mess like B Scott did and hopefully his prick brother will soon. Norf have very few “stars” and too much work for him to develop all the kids. Apart from offering him squillions, not much incentive for him
