Malthouse/Buckley

Funniest thing is that even the Choker supporters are at war on who's better/right (i.e. they even hate their current coach ;D)

Every colonwood bloke i know hated buckley until august 2018.

It was unanimous. Even the full collingwood inner sanctum aristocrats (yeah, i know pairing collinwood and aristocrat in the same sentence is like pairing peter dutton with kind) could say his name without spitting.

Now they tolerate him in silence.

What arrogance, when hes acheived zero as a coach, to return fire at malthouse.

Was he returning fire? What did Mick say first?
Seems to me that poor old sanctimonious nafen had a bit of a tanty after Mick was admitted to the HOF, then made it all about himself.
“Boo hoo, mick doesn’t like me. But I’m a very special human and I’ll turn the other cheek and be the better man.”
Meanwhile, Mick is like “?”

And how has Mick rewritten history, according to the figgy one?

Put me in the beer with Mick camp

Did anyone actually listen to the whole interview? There was nothing bitter in what Bucks said or the way he said it. I thought he was actually very complimentary of Malthouse. He was asked though if they had a relationship today and he answered honestly.

It's a no brainer between Malthouse and Buckley, Mick is a Richmond Premiership hero.

Sooked because Mick didn't list him as one of the best players he's seen or coached. Mick named: Glen Jakovich, Doug Hawkins and Dane Swan as the best 3 and left Figgy in the 'others' list.

Complimentary by saying he and Mick "don't get on"? Mick didn't take it kindly.

Did he call Malthouse a “master manipulator” or not?

It may well be true, but dissolves any pretence of being complimentary.

....and that was done before the 2018 GF. Long may it continue. ;D

Yea me too. I think Bucks might have been pushed a bit also, for too long, too often.

In any case, given the time of year in particular, as much as I might enjoy it I doubt all this will do them much meaningful damage.

I don't care what that lot do, say or think anyway.

Malthouse was never going to be happy with Mchin’s handover plan, and I’m surprised there wasn’t a lot mor fireworks during that period. Bucks should be happy with what he got out of the deal and shutup about it.
