I think it was a terrible rookie selection promarily because it was not a role we needed depth for. I don't get the thinking at all.

Yep. Not like we have a shortage of players like him.

We lost 5 depth players clearing out almost a million dollars to snare Lynch. Weller was a 75k insurance against that.

Then all our kids turned into guns on debut and we didn’t need him.

Oh well, nobody broke into the house, you could try to get a refund from the insurance company but good luck.

But it doesnt negate your idea that the kids team is pretty potent

Well done Mav. Struggled after an early burst and his limitations with the ball (for AFL level) were highlighted.

Has played well at VFL level. We gave him a chance at AFL level but he couldn't convert. Hope he goes out with a VFL premiership. A fitting way to end it.
