Not the worst as a back-up but that is all he would be. Has shown that he is a 25 to 40 player on a list. Would rather one of Grigg, Pickett, Bolton etc as they could add as much as a minimum but have a higher ceiling if they click
A battler who was was going OK a couple of years ago. Not sure there's room for both he and Townsend on the list.
Article says new rule bought in last week , Supplemental selection period , so sounds like a player doesn’t have to be delisted for over 12 months, sounds just like the old delisted free agent.......I think

I mentioned Mav Weller as a potential player for our list about 4 weeks ago and got generally pilloried for it!
Remember this is about depth and someone who can come and play a role, we have lost a lot of that depth. Weller has pace and can play but lacks consistency. I reckon he is as good a delisted free agent as it out there.

Found his 2017 season review as viewed by SEN Inside Football not great reading i have highlighted the last game of that season ironically against us.
Has been de-listed by both Gold Coast and St Kilda so don't know why we would bother?
