If she does, her Aussie accent is horrible, which would be unusual for an Australian. She sounds like a Pom, except when she sounds like an Aussie trying to sound like a Pom.

Actually it's good acting. Americans aren't used to Australian actors using an Aussie accent, so Margot's pretending to be an English actress using a poor Australian accent.

There's another Aussie actor in the film who plays a Canadian pretending to be a Kiwi!

That Eye in the Sky movie was great.

It would be interesting to know if those flying beetle drones had actually been used in real life situations like that.

Spielberg's adaptation of Roald Dahl's The BFG was beautifully made. Great one for the u13s this school hols.

I might try and see that soon. I read all of Roald Dahl's books as a kid and liked most of his movies. I remember paying $29 for the VHS of the animated film in the 90s and disliked it. That was a lot of money for a primary school kid. I'm sure Spielberg's adaptation will be decent, I've liked most of his movies.

When are they going to make 'Danny The Champion Of The World' into a movie?

Edit: Oh, they did! In 1989. For telly. Ima check it out.

I used to have that on tape as well. Can't remember if it was any good or not, probably didn't watch it much. Had Jeremy Irons in it and Robbie Coltrane. Fairly big names for a TV movie.

Saw a great flick last night it was Richmond winning next years flag , then l woke up ))..

Sully, about the pilot who landed on the Hudson, is pretty good.

Very keen on seeing La La Land, Chazelle's new flick. Looks like it will be the dominant Oscar contender.

Donnie Darko is an old favourite. Mr Nobody is better.

..watched Mr Nobody. Wow, thank you! .....'art on film.' So much to love about this movie including the beautiful love story with anna. Loved the director's sensibilities.

Also watched 'Primer' - clever little flick on time travel produced for the cost of my old corolla.

Glad you enjoyed it mate. Beautiful is the word. Heart-swelling.

Primer is a ripper little flick. Another interesting low-budget time-travel film I saw recently was Time Lapse, which is quite good. Safety Not Guaranteed is a few years old now but is just brilliant.

Danny Collins, based on the true story of a singer who finally received a letter John Lennon wrote him 40 years after it was written, is a pretty tidy little treatise on ageing and the mistakes we make. Pacino in great form, tres pathos. Annette Bening still lovely. Bobby Cannavale is in it too, I like him.

I just watched this the other night, she was meant to be South African.

Saw 'Sausage Party' tonight. Haha. Some funny parts but overall a bit long for a visual pun movie.
I lasted 35 minutes into this, I love the team responsible but this was awful.

Jesus. Not even the South African accent is that awful.
