Richard Jewell, by Clint Eastwood. Loved it. Remarkable story and my found myself frequently yelling at the hero.

For those who want more K-Flicks, here's a starter. Be warned, many of these are very art-house.

If you want more accessible, try:

Thrillers/Gangster
Old Boy
The Chaser
Yellow Sea
Bittersweet Life
Miracle in Cell No. 7

The Host
is Bong's creature flick - but it's great. Similar themes of family emerge.

One of the things I like about Korean movies is they will kill off major characters that you love, just because.
Have you seen JSA (Joint Security Area)? One of the best stories of male friendship put to film.

I liked The Mule. 15.17 to Paris was terrible.
15:17 is a good story. Odd though to use the protagonists in the lead roles. Didn’t work for me.

The mule was evidence to me that his days in front of the camera had passed.

OK - with no footy and in lock-down thought I'd watch some movies

Upgrade - Very good - enjoyed it
Parasite - can see why it won so many awards
Ad Astra - meh - fell asleep.
1917 - OK - bit overhyped
The Hunt - oh dear - don't waste your time
Bloodshot - Not bad scifi action flick

Hate wasting 1.5 to 2 hours watching a *smile* movie.
Anyone recommend any good movies I can kill some boredom with?

It's divisive. So much so that I still don't know whether I love it or loathe it.

Anyway, probably only works for fans of the film but here's Memento, re-cut in chronological order.

I still say Memento is Nolan's best film. It's perfect. And so many people still don't get it.
