Neil Balme - Bring him back

Nothing lasts forever.
Will always be a Tiger in my eyes & be forever in debt for the calming Godfather influence we needed in helping us win flags.
Good luck to him but not too much.

Why are we losing all our people?
Tune into Caroline Wilson, where no doubt it'll be the coach's fault... (she'll skip the part where the crows have been chasing Balmey for years!)

Caracella. ... the old farts who still sell raffle tickets at games gave him the year's takings.
Leppitsch. .. initially decided to go for opportunities in property development.
McCrae... maybe he got a better deal... personal development etc. (The reason why blokes like Harvey probably won't get a gig coz he hasn't moved around for more experience!)

been saying this for a while now. Something is not right in Punt Road.
Good people always leave good organisations for more money or opporunity. Balmey has a history of changing clubs fairly often too so i don't think you can read a lot into it and his role has actualy been downgraded in recent times.

I do like the thread title - we are already calling to bring Balme back and he has only been gone an hour.

thanks Balmy for all your input and assistance to Richmond over the past number of years. You are truly a Richmond Man,. You have been part of the culture change that has brought wonderful things to this amazing club.

His wife is SA born and bred though I am reasonably certain
Might of done a deal with her and Balmey's time around footy in Victoria is over.

Thanks Balmey, never forget you laughing after Butler's goal in the last 2017.

Yep, Leppa/Fly/Burge/Balme and the rest all may have had excellent professional reasons for leaving the club when they did.

Key coaches leaving the club when we were on the verge of a three-peat does at least raise the question though.

Lets cut to the chase he left because he is South Australian.
He would've got a *smile* load more to move and Adelaide is a retirement village
