Chris Scott less than convincing I thought when questioned about the Bumwood job….
Why would he leave the Pussies especially if they win the flag? Maybe he's trying to stooge them and get his twin brother in the position.

Purely trying to hide their incompetence. No people moving about, no people going to work, no people in crowds at sport = no cooties transmission.

Old mate Daaaaaan has been taking plenty of lessons from Chairman Xie n Little Kimmy, just lovin the control n power.

Yep The tank has started by the Maggots.

No use for them to tank Craig as they've traded most of their picks (their first pick is a second round selection from last year tied to the Dogs ladder position, so as of today is pick 37 I think)

They can tank all they like, they'll still have to trade out players to get the pts for Daicos, he'd want to be as good as his old man to justify the hype & make it worth the price to get him.

Duncan out at best 10weeks but could probably end up 13 weeks which at best would be mid finals,a huge loss along with Gufrie there best 2 mids, currently ahead of Dangerfield,Selwood easily.

Worst is that lynch did way way less, selwood commited 3 fairly dirty acts that he thought were not detectable.

Considering how great his Old man was thats a pretty massive ask.

Duncan and Guthrie are their main mids now.

They might get enough easy kills at Corio to help them skate by.

Is there a bigger money pit than the Gold Coast Sun$?
It's a big reason the AFL had no money last year when the *smile* hit the fan.
We're all paying for it.

It's an absolute mess atm, i don't reckon the Coach is the issue either, it goes much deeper than that. No matter who thier Coach has been it's always been the same up there.

And their chairman seems lost and could be part of their problem - picking fights with everyone instead of pulling his head in, building broader support and fixing his club.

In retrospect "Bluey" McKenna is looking more like a supercoach by the day

The Gold Coast has never really had a successful franchise in any code of elite level sport.

Same reason as Vegas and Nevada doesnt in the USA.

The joint is a party pit and not conjusive to profeessional elite performance.

The Titans have been in the NRL since 2007 and apart from 2 good seasons where they made the finals in 09 and scraped in to finals in 2010 they haven't made as big an impact as would have been expected by now.

Just think about being a fit young man at the peak of your virility and vigour, busting with energy fit and living up there from 18 till 26 odd.

Footy would struggle to be your number one focus.

The other reason is expats from NSW and VIC and Queenslanders themselves alreay have code and team allegiancies
