Love your work Buulis but hope you're wrong. I'd be pretty disappointed with that hall.

These are rankings not draft strategy, I wouldn't be spending pick 25 on Kyron Hayden for example but I rate him very highly and he would be my first pick at 52. I'd also pick Taylor before Garner given CHB is a more pressing need, I think one can afford to look at list requirements if it's only a matter of 1 or 2 places in the order. But for the record I'm hoping it goes -

17. Bonar
20. Balta
25. Taylor
26+ Naish

Worked on a top 30 this year. Here it is.

1. Cam Rayner
2. Luke Davies-Uniacke
3. Adam Cerra
4. Andrew Brayshaw
5 Paddy Dow
6 Jaidyn Stehpenson
7 Hunter Clark
8 Darcy Fogarty
9 Aiden Bonar
10 Noah Balta
11 Nathan Murphy
12 Nicholas Coffiedl
13 Patrick Naish
14 Oscar Allen
15 Jack Higgins
16 Lochie O’Brien
17 Jarrod Brander
18 Aaron Naughton
19 Charlie Constable
20 Matthew Ling
21 Ed Richards
22 Jack Petrucelle
23 Tim Kelly
24 Joel Garner
25 Sam Taylor
26 Charlie Ballard
27 Connor Ballenden
28 Zac Bailey
29 Jordan Houlahan
30 Ryley Stoddart

Rayner was just shy of being 2 minutes slower than the winner of the 2km time trial. A big worry, the only bloke I can recall who's come back from that has been Eddie Betts.

Got a bit of clarification on the Stephenson heart condition and he's been cleared. I'm detecting smoke signals in an effort to force him down the order.

Charlie Constable will be the big slider in my opinion, his tank is poor and his speed is poor. High chance of being an outright bust.

Rumour around that Stephenson could slide to late 1st rounder with clubs going very cold on him as a top 10 selection (probably due to his heart condition )

Would certainly be worth a risk with our picks

A bit like Heppell's hammies & Selwood's knees, I smell a rat. He's either fit to play AFL or he's not fit and a doctor will pull the plug like they did with Villis. If he slides then great, we take him, but I'm getting the impression that a team wants him on the cheap. His athletic testing was outstanding and he runs out games better than most. He also comes from a sporting family so the genes are obviously strong.

We should start a similar rumour about Naish ;)

Take him out to king st and get him to lay down near a gutter,Take a pic and release it to the HUN 2 days prior to the draft but make sure you get Naish to turn off his phone for the next 2 days

GOLD COAST

19. Callum Coleman-Jones
41. Brett Bewley
50. Brayden Crossley
52. Brandon Starcevich
76. Jack Payne

This batch looks like a bit of a dogs breakfast to me. My first reaction was to question why you have picked two ruckman when Jarrod Witts has a mortgage on the first ruck duties. On top of that I see Coleman-Jones as an early third rounder to rookie pick. At this selection you could have addressed just about any other position yet you targeted an area of minimal importance. At 41 you've gone early on a state leaguer and I daresay that if Bewley gets drafted it will be much later than this. At 50 you have selected a guy who is an GC academy player and someone you could have matched at pick 76. Meanwhile bargains like Ballard have fallen into the lap of the Tigers. Starcevich was probably the best pick out of this lot and despite needing some work on the tank he shows a bit of promise. Jack Payne could have and should have been matched as Brisbane have delisted 12 players and still have 4 spots left..........so be grateful for small mercies.

Grade: D+
Callum Coleman-Jones: I had at 19, went at 20 to Richmond.
Brett Bewley: I had at 41 went undrafted
Brayden Crossley: I had at 50 went at 52 to Gold Coast.
Brandon Starcevich: I had at 52, went at 18 to Brisbane.
Jack Payne: I had at 76 went at 54 to Brisbane.

Thanks for the feedback guys, certainly makes the time & effort worth it. Just for some last minute news, Rayner, D.Fogarty & Constable just completed a 2km time trial and all were pretty average (although I already knew they were poor runners). Rayner & Constable up there with Sam Hayes for aerobic capacity, must say I'd be pretty worried about picking Rayner at 1 or even 2. Brayshaw a sneaky chance for pick 1. Just for the heck of it here's my top 50.

1. Luke Davies-Uniacke (4)
2. Jaidyn Stephenson (6)
3. Andrew Brayshaw (2)
4. Adam Cerra (5)
5. Cam Rayner (1)
6. Darcy Fogarty (12)
7. Paddy Dow (3)

23. Aaron Naughton (9)
24. Jack Petruccelle (38)
25. Kyron Hayden (62)
26. Jordan Houlahan (49)
27. Tim Kelly (24)
28. Nathan Murphy (39)
29. Ed Richards (16)
30. Matthew Ling (14)
31. Hugh Dixon (44)
32. Andrew McPherson (40)
33. Oscar Clavarino (35)
34. Jake Patmore (58)
35. Charlie Constable (36)
36. Harrison Petty (37)
37. Brent Daniels (27)
38. Ryley Stoddart (53)
39. Gryan Miers (57)
40. Charlie Ballard (42)
41. Brayden Ainsworth (32)
42. Sam Hayes (47)
43. Mitch Crowden (59)
44. Charlie Spargo (29)
45. Ben Paton (46)
46. Nick Shipley (64)
47. Tom McCartin (33)
48. Will Walker (23)
49. Brayden Crossley (52)
50. Ben Miller (63)

Hopefully not seen as cookie cutter, a few smokies thrown in there for good measure. Three players I wanted to include were Ross, Kreuger & Giro but you can't fit them all in. I've deliberately left out the state league guys because one can usually pick them up for nix in the rookie draft.

Not too bad, all drafted, a few drifters, a few surprises. Proof will be in the pudding in 3-4 years.

You have smashed that out of the park, bulla. There wouldn't be a phantom drafter got close to that.
