Round 10 - the hommus games.

Freo loss to,Dees next week and us beating swans are the two results that will advance our top 4 prospects. (And the icing on cake type result would pies d blues. Blues have lowest percentage in top 8 reflecting their win it one quarter and hang for the siren game plan.)

In 2 weeks Freo % have dropped from 153% to 126%
Low points for. Despite being third, before this round you had to go as far down to tenth (Port) to find a lower one. Low scoring games. Defensive. It means your percentage will fluctuate more, in either direction.

I hadn't really taken too much notice of Freo. Their formline isn't as good as the ladder looks.

Wins against Adelaide (by a point), West Coast, GWS (at Optus), Bombers, Carlton (at Optus but still a good win), Geelong (easily their best win) and the Kangas
Losses to Saints (at Optus), Gold Coast and now Collingwood.

They have a lot of good teams still to play and they just aren't scoring big scores. Only 3 scores over 100 (102, 107 and 102) all 3 were against the Bombers, West Coast and North so they haven't scored over 100 points against anyone but the bottom 3.

I think that may well be Freo's downfall re a top 4 spot. They have a solid midfield and defence, but they simply don't score enough.

Whats happened to Freo? The last 2 weeks they have completely struggled to score
Wet weather seems to be kryptonite for them but don’t watch enough to do anything deeper than that. Imagine Fyfe will help in wet.

Yet again Ginnivan gets ANOTHER free for high contact and goals. Does this little plick ever earn a kick?
Bloody hard work timing the duck n throw the head back to ensure the maggots see it properly n award a free kick. Ginny earns every free kick she plays for.

Imagine if our Sub kicked 4 goals coming om for Lambert.
Robbo would burst a lung
And Kingy would be asking for a royal commission.
**2 weeks ago Collingwood supporters were calling Henry a dud and today they're calling him a star.
He is 10 times better then McCrae, Poultry & Innes.

Those last two games have opened spots 3-8 back up imo. A shame we look like we'll be without Lynch, Lambert and Balta for a pretty tough month in Swans, Power, Blues and Cats. You'd probably take 2-2.

We have the bye RD 12

Balta is back against Port (RD13), already running. Tarrant and Gibcus will offset the loss of Balta for this week's game against the Swans
Lynch is likely to come back V Port (worst case against Carlton (RD14)
Lambert with hip soreness should be back against Port in 3 weeks. But he can be covered for this week's game with Pickett and Graham to come back in.
